Slap Shot good to see you back; however, I have a black helicopter to take to fargo I just hope now that the final five is here we will finally see some objective officiating, the league has a big problem that needs to be fixed in the off season, come on we all know its true, whether we want to acknowledge it or not. Of course some fans will poo poo it, but the reality is that the officals have a credibility problem in this league and the status quo is no longer good enough, especially if for some reason Randy Schmidt is wearing stripes next year. Its time to drain the swamp and start over, Brian Thul should be the rule not the exception. Of course youre going to get push back from the coaches of the have nots in the league because they probably like to see the whistles swallowed by the refs that allow for the clutching grabbing. Are all teams going to have to adjust to the games being called tighter, UND will as well... I just hope the WCHA teams are not going to be in trouble come NCAA time.

The only bad thing is Notre Dame hasn't beat anything that resembles a good team since October when they beat Denver and Miami in November, other than that they are 0-2 Against Michigan, 0-1-1 against Michigan State. All of their wins have been against everyone below them in the standings.

It might go back to the incident that happened last season when Tourmey got hurt. But also the Goofs have been know to run goalies in the past. I don't see them doing it to UND if they play again. We know it would be responded to. If someone runs the goalie a simple cross check will take care of the sending the message back.

While I agree college is about the college students and them being rowdy I am sick and tired of being told us Season ticket holders don't cheer make any noise -- Barbra Streisand . That is just silly. The guys I go to the games with cheer clap and yell at the refs with the best of them all the while the people around us sit in their seat not making a sound.
