So why is it that the refs in the WCHA can't call a game to save their sole but when the NCAA playoffs are on the line they seem to rise to the occasion? I noticed that last night and brought it up to my friends and they noticed the same thing...

I agree, because we actually made the Frozen Four. I think our team peaked too fast this season and that is why the team needs to play balanced all season long.

That was funny and I was thinking of a great slamb for this guys too but I would probably get suspended. I agree, all season long our team won games it shouldn't have, I think the Sioux might have over achieved. Just a thought. I think Hakstol is going to lead a team to an NCAA title soon, the recruits coming in on paper measure up against the media's darlings (Michigan, Miami, Minnesota, B.C.) as well as the other top teams in college hockey. I think we should take a breath and let it sink in. Hockey is a game folks and I am upset but I have moved on. I will still go next year. Tomorrow is another day, there will be more cold beer soon.

here is the irony, we complain about the WCHA officials, I know I have but Todd Anderson looked a heck of a lot better than Shegos. I maybe slightly buzzed but it does appear that he hates UND more than Don Adam. That was a call they have to make. That is a 5 and a game. It still doesn't change the fact that UND got owned.

They are not going to fire Hak. It is silly to think so. I think of the four teams that went to the Frozen Four this was the least talented team I wish we could have Oshie, Duncan and Chorney for one more season. I could see them winning it.

I see what your saying but if the ref doesn't call the game the way its supposed to play a slower bigger team can negate the speed with the hooking and holding. I think UND has tried to take the size of the CCHA teams (both Michigan and ND are big teams) and add speed guys but we have gottened killed by teams with flat out speed. I also want to see a Frozen Four game without Shegos reffing the Fighting Sioux. I am not saying it was the reason we lost. I would hate to think what our record is when he refs. Also the leg check on Chorney should have been a 5 minute major that was one of the dirtiest checks I saw all season long.

Now your team has to find another goalie. I personally didn't he was playing all that bad when he was benched. Just wasn't any room for error when your team isn't scoring goals.
