So Why are you hacking on him so hard? Jordan Parise was a pretty good goalie and suffered through an injury. I just wish him well. Beside how do we know that playing in Austria is such a bad deal? Like I mentioned earlier Johnny Pohl said playing EUROPE is compariable to playing in the USA same money only they pay your housing. So basically Jordan is making more money than us to play a kids game. I am not trying to pick a fight with you but 70,000 -200,000 to play a game is pretty cool. I don't think he is going to stop pursuing his dream of playing in the NHL or the AHL because a Sioux fan on a message board said he can't make the NHL.

Good point, Tim Thomas went from the NHL/AHL to the Finnish Elite League back to a starting goal tending position in the NHL. Anything can happen.

There have been a lot of players that have made the NHL from UND. Zajac, Parise, Towes. That is just recently. Sure we have a lot of players in the AHL as well.

I was reading and nationally Barr isn't going to play much of a role in the election. I am not a big fan of him.

PA and Dubay had Johnny Pohl on the other day and said that playing in Europe is compatible with playing in the USA only that they pay for your housing. If that is true he probably got a better deal than he would playing for an AHL team. If I remember right Brady Murray got a pretty good deal to play in Europe as well and he did in fact end up playing the NHL for a few games...

It isn't being overly sensative it called taking every argument and arguing the extreme of it to silly. I don't mind having a informed debate. Trust me I am happy a certain Siouxsports.com member isn't a hunter. However, it goes back to protecting a sport and that is the reason I spend money on Pheasants forever, Ducks Unlimited and the NRA. There are enough negative forces out there attacking hunting.

Nope; John Mcain he is the best of the worst. I think this years presidential candidates are horrible at best. They keep getting worse and worse with each election cycle. This years presidential campaign is a testimate to this.
