Yeah it would appear that the Twins are due, and they won like 2 games against 7 loses in Chicago. Both wins were one sided.

I just want to see the Twins beat the Chi-Sox again.

Actually the twins and the sox play tomorrow night for the right to go to the play off so there is a 50/50 chance I actually would welcome the vikes losing this season if we could get rid of Childress and TJAC. If they sucked this season they could get a higer number one pick and a quarter back. I am not happy with the way the season has went but if they win next monday night they could still get into the playoffs.

Chris Dilks owns the blog, I am not sure where he is from but he is a Mankato fan as well. I believe he is a college student that will probably be a newspaper writer someday. You might want to send him an email he will probably answer you if you email him.

As an alumnus of the University of North Dakota classes 1996 and 1999 of course I am going to support my team no matter what the names becomes (except Flickertail) I may have an aneurism if the change the name to that. I am not happy about this but I am powerless as the rest of us are to stop the wheels of changed. A few stuffed shirts are making this decision for all of us. Even if the name changes it isn't going to stop me from wearing my unis and hats until they wear out and fall apart. I might also have to buy a few jerseys before they become non existant.

I am going to have to say that while I am not happy with the change, I am going to say that I am getting to where Sicakota is with his statement. I will still be a fan of the Sioux no matter what. I don't think we have to worry about them being the Flickertails either...

I don't know if that would actually happen because a lot of Sioux fans know the political forces behind changing the name are unstopable. We are powerless short of taking the NCAA back to court again and getting the policy ruled unconstitutional there is NOTHING we can do about the name changing. It would probably take a intervention from the congress or some court to stop this.

I think they can make a bowl game this season but I guess it doesn't hurt to dream about the Gophers winning the Big Ten and making the Rose Bowl. I think I heard Brewster predict that they could do it...

When did I ever say I didn't like Sioux football? Now your putting words in my mouth. I said I also like the Gopher and they would beat the Sioux handedly this season. I am thinking you have a reading compehension problem. Where is it written that I can't like Sioux hockey and Football and also cheer for the Gopher football team? Is there some rule written somewhere? I guess I didn't get the memo if there is. They aren't in the same league the Sioux are FCS IAA and the Gophers are Divsion 1A (isn't that BCS?) not really even technically rivals.

I would have to say that these guys have been give a pretty good chance to perform of the two I think Martens ads more to the mix.
