BringDeanBack is right if anyone thinks they are entitled it is the Canadian fans and their media. I remember a few years back 2004 when the USA had won the WJC you would have thought Canada had suffered and utter disaster because they didn't win the WJC. I don't think USA fans feel entitled to anything. A lot of us are used to be disappointed in the WJC.

I am unimpressed with the Canadians cheering for any team playing the USA. I hope Canada loses the game tomorrow. I would rather see the Swedes win than the Canadians. Sorry but I have become bored with the Canadian fans. George Bush and Dick Cheney aren't playing for Team USA.

This weekend's series pretty much means we will see one of the following combinations: Derek Shephurd, Donn Adam and or Marco Hunt. Daddy Shep will be at the REA as well. So I think the Sioux and the Gophers should give them something to talk about by having a rough and tumble series.

I know some of us were really down after our favorite teams lost to MTU and MSU last weekend. Miami of Ohio lost to Clarkson and Army in the same weekend. That's not good.

I thought about this last night; I think the Sioux initially didn't really know if they had won or not. Maybe that is the reason they had a subdued celebration.

I saw Marto play in high school and he could take the puck end to end no one could touch him. Marto goal against B.C. last year was pretty good. I guess I expected more out of him this season. I thought Blood played ok tonight.

Fighting is actually up this season and more teams are employing the goon. Look at Milan Lucic the guy is the second coming of cam neely, he can fight and score. Makes him even more dangers, you don't know if he is going to check you, punch you or score a goal. The other day Boogaard was complaining about only playing 4 1/2 minutes a game. LOL...

MSU just beat UAF by scoring two goals in 3:52 of the 3rd period. Wow, I wonder if this is a turn around for MSU?

I think fighting keeps the agitators like Matt Cooke in check. If the NHL did away with fighting the cheap shots would be out of control. Of course the Boogey man would be out of a job.
