Since the final five a few years back (Wheeler goal) I try to avoid much contact with Goofs fans. I had some some skippy wearing a Gophers jersey corner me at the urinal and the door at the Xcel Energy Center in 2007 to tell me my team sucked. I would have loved to run into this skippy after the Regional in Denver. I had to tell the guy to get the hell out of my way so I could return to my seat watch the game, since it was hard to watch the game in the bathroom. I am too old to get into some petty pissing contest with oppostion fans. I would rather have a few beers with them and have fun, there are some cool gophers fans. Also, The hatred for the Goofs keeps me warm on a cold day like this past weekend.

Zajac also offered someone a chance to settle it on the ice as well when he skated out on the ice pointed to the Goofs bench and out there we will settle this. Of course the maroon and gold turtles won't because they chicken. They would rather run their mouth and hide behind their face masks and sticks.

I actually have to commend the refs in this situation. Redwing77 is going to disppointed with me. But the refs did the right thing they took the players that were all fired up from the scrum and instead of giving players DQ's like some might have they they gave them 10-minute missconducts. Actually Barriball is lucky Hextall didn't get to take a piece of him. Also, Lucia's spear was bush league.

I have suggestion Fat Tuesdays I love that place.

I saw the patiented Jonsey snap in Bemidji 2 or 3 years ago and it was funny the two benches were yapping back and forth. Seratorre was yapping with the UND coaches. I think Jones got sticked in a sensative area or something like that and went after the wrong guy.

Some of those guys were coming up big this weekend. Some of the younger guys are making big strides each week.

In case anyone forgot to read INCH this week. I wonder if the Sioux players read this?

It was a spoof, a way for fans to blow off steam. Redwing77 game me this idea. Actually I would like to fire a few players that failed to show up for this game. At the end of the game it showed Haksol and it looked like he was less than pleased with the effort tonight. Almost like he has a bad case of gas or indigestion. It would have been interesting to hear what he had to say after the game. I see a bag em (leave the pucks in the bag practice coming soon)... These guys need a wake up call, they close to breaking out but they are not there yet. Actually we can ruin this thread without ruling some of the other ones on this page.

I haven't seen anyone mention it but; I like when Finley challenged Barriball to a dance. It was kind of like put up or shut up. Classic stuff.

I guess he missed the plays leading up the Jones snap. There is reason Zach went off like that. Notice how the Gophers players never drop their sticks? These clowns wouldn't do these antics if they were playing Juniors either here in the USHL or the CHL. Flynn would have had his ass handed to him. The guy makes Bickel look like a choir boy.

My wife and I were watching the game on FSN replay last night after we got back from the arena and during the whole scrum, Hak just stood on the bench even keel. After watching the rantings by John Hill I thought it was a contrast in styles.

That was awesome.

It makes a player tired to go to the WJC and suck as bad as they did. Fairchild was so poor this weekend that he was on the ice for 12 goals.

Flynn, Lucia are both hacks.

I like how Sherhurd came into the box to settle everyone down. I thought that was funny. I hope these two teams play in the Final Five.

All Hill did was fire up the Sioux for the next game between the two programs.

How about Coach Hills remarks on FSN? All he did was add fuel to the fire with saying there is no sportsmanship in this series. If anything I think the Sioux were the cleaner of the two programs this past weekend. The gophers and their stick work was disgusting. Also, Ryan Flynn is a hack and I have become bored with his antics this weekend.

I did. I said before the weekend that I had watched the Gophers play a lot this season. Copy rigth FSN. I was not impressed with the Gophers and I am still not impressed with the Gophers. Our team is making progress in leaps and bounds. The freshman and sophomore players are taking over.
