Skippy, I do not have an inferiority complex. Second I could give three $#!ts about your team, but I have brough up some instances of silliness from your coach and from the blogger in MPLS that writes for the RED STAR and SICKLE in fact I am satisfied with the job your coach is doing down in Gooferville. I just think it is funny sparing with the Gophers fans that think their coach is above criticism. Third if you call finishing the season 7th place in the WCHA acceptable that is pretty sad in my opinion. I wouldn't call this season that successful either especially if you miss the WCHA Final Five and the NCAA West Regional. oh yeah this one is for you Skippy sieve: 7 > 5

Actually UMD is probably going to be one of the better teams in the WCHA next season. I expect them to make a lot of noise this year in the WCHA playoffs as well. Mike Conolly is one of the better rookies in the league. Also, UND fans haven't gotten to see UMD play a lot this season because of the lack of decent TV coverage. But from what I have seen so far this season I have been impressed with the UMD Bulldogs. I think of all the teams that played UMD this season they played the Sioux the toughest. Hats off to SANDY. Oh yeah and I expect the Goofs to be swept by the Bulldogs this weekend. I have a beer riding on it.

Skippy, Skippy, Skippy, you are the king of the straw man's argument. Last time I checked this is a Fighting Sioux message board, it is not a Gophers message board, I don't have to be objective. If you want to have a Gopher love feast go back to GPL, I am sure you can find enough people that want to talk about the brown and yellow rodents. I am not going to give the goofs any props, never. I have listened to your fans, media, newspaper writers, bloggers and stupid television announcers rub the oppositions noses in the stench that is the Minnesota Gophers. I could give a rats butt what your horrible team is doing down in MPLS, in fact I am enjoying your season quite well thankyou. The fact remains is Lucia is at the helm for three sub par years, and in those three season there has been a serious gopher meltdown. I love watching all the so called experts spin and pontificate on the reason the Gophers are getting their butts kick up and down the ice. Based on all the talent that the Goofs have on their roster it's mind boggling to see any reason why this should happen. Hum, guess where the finger is pointiing? The coach.

They would love seeing a roster made up of half Candians. I want tickets to watch that.

It was one of my brothers workers but I am going to take some merit to what this ex-player had to say. I am also going to pose this question; If Lucia is a such a good coach why wasn't he able to get more out of a player like Blake Wheeler who is a legit ROY candidate in the NHL? It appears that some of his ex-players have blossomed in the NHL in spite of him.

My Brother worked with a guy in MPLS that played for Lucia @ C.C. and said Lucia can recruit great players but he isn't a very good coach. Also, does anyone find it ironic that Lucia get rid of MG and they don't retain their goalie coach Stauber and they are having problem with defense and goaltending? Just saying. I have no dog in this fight so I could care less if Luica is the coach f the Gopher or not. Frankly he is doing one hell of a job right now

I would predict that Lucia is going no where.

If I was Danny I would get out of the Wild organization as soon as possible. Unless D.R. and J.L. are gone after seasons end.

I honestly don't know if UBC would really put that much of a dent into OUR recruiting, maybe other teams like UAA. UND hasn't taken a lot of recruits out of that area lately since I don't remember anyone this year or next coming in from the BCHL. It's like people freaking out over Notre Dame getting a new arena. So what UND is still going to be a top school because of our history and tradition. Can't get them all. Look at Minnesota they are stuff with talent and still suck.

I once heard someone say that Blaiser wouldn't coach at the UofMN.

I agree with Siouxman I don't need the Gophers to have fun and I wouldn't mind if they aren't there this season.

UND's run of bad luck has happened during the last four frozen fours.

I have sat in the upper deck, suites, club and lower bowl, if you taking pictures lower bowl is really good. If you not taking pictures and like shorter lines to the bathroom club is good. I also recomending sitting at center ice in the upper deck. Awesome place to sit. The Suite thing was an accident that just happened. They have cheaper beer in the Suites and you get TV, and much nicer bathrooms.

Lets see the Goofs have been swept by MSU-M, UND, Wisconsin and C.C. I don't like your team's chances. The only team they have beat on a regular basis is SCSU and it's tought to beat a team 6 times in a season. Eventually that team will win.

The more I think about it, if that situation happened the league coaches would run McClown and Sherpherd out of the league office. That move would lack class and be unethical.
