Just for the record I don't see anything in that article that says ND is going to the Big Ten or not playing in the same conference with MSU and Michigan. So think of it this way, Even with the Big Ten hockey conference you will still have the other powers like BU, B.C. and UND. It isn't going to change thatings all that much.

Also I don't think there should be a set number of penalties, 10 for MSU-M and 10 for UND. I guess I am not sure what you're taking issue with, I think the Mavericks earned all the penalties they got. Take the Wild a lot of nights they are always getting called for more penalties than their opponents.

Do you think the refs were out of line this weekend? I think MSU-M played undisciplined hockey.

The problem is that no one watched Seawolves hockey except a few hard core UAA fans. Of course there will be a bunch of Sioux fans logging on that will probably crash the server.

The fact that Luica and Gwoz have been crying about the reffing this season makes me believe that there is enough ground swell to get the ball rolling. Remember the refs have been called out a few time this season. Add virg's comments about the league the other night between periods of the hockey game on Saturday night it is no mystery that the league office has a serious credibility problems. Anyone else seeing a pattern developing here? Seems the coaches aren't happy with the officating but the League commish McClown doesn't see the problems with the officials so the problems won't get fixed. Shyiak is right that was a bad call on the CFB in question. The Gopher player turned his back and got hit. It was also a shoulder to shoulder hit. Whistler your right, I have never seen a Sioux player do what Schack did against MSU-M if you watch the game you will see Schack the hack did it twice in the same game. Jumping someone from hind is a not cool.

Does not excuse what he did, not one bit. Schack could have challenged Boe to a fight in the next game instead of jumping him from behind. That would have beent he correct move, not jump him from behind with his gloves on then punch him while still wearing your helmet and gloves. That trumps anything Boe did.

It is not as good as the UND one and I did watch a game on it the last time Grecio played for the Sioux in Alaska so that has to be 2 years ago? The SCSU game was ok, if you like watching games in empty hockey arenas.
