That is what I was wondering because I know UND has a lot of High end talent from the USHL next season but it appears that they may have done well with B.E.

I really don't follow Junior hockey but is the BCHL, AJHL and the USHL pretty much the same as far as quality goes? I honestly don't know, it seems the Sioux are getting away from the BCHL.

Yeah no doubt the Blackhawks uniform is awesome. I just got a retro Sioux jersey and I loved that logo. Sweet logo, I wish UND wouldn't have ever dropped it, but I also like the new one as well.

DU and C.C. good point. The WCHA will still survive. We have UMN, UW, OSU, MICHIGAN, MSU who is the 6th big ten team? ND is an indy and said doesn't want to join the Big Ten in other sports. Or do the big ten teams form a super hockey conference with some other teams?

Could you imagine if that had been a Sioux player that did that?

I know what you're saying I just think the WCHA could do better in the officating department. You're right on Todd Anderson he is pathetic as well as Don Adam. I think Shepherd and Marco have done better this season but the Sioux don't get them every game.

Does anyone know if Irwin was given an extra game for his Paul Bunyan chop?

Just for the record I don't see anything in that article that says ND is going to the Big Ten or not playing in the same conference with MSU and Michigan. So think of it this way, Even with the Big Ten hockey conference you will still have the other powers like BU, B.C. and UND. It isn't going to change thatings all that much.

Also I don't think there should be a set number of penalties, 10 for MSU-M and 10 for UND. I guess I am not sure what you're taking issue with, I think the Mavericks earned all the penalties they got. Take the Wild a lot of nights they are always getting called for more penalties than their opponents.

Do you think the refs were out of line this weekend? I think MSU-M played undisciplined hockey.

The problem is that no one watched Seawolves hockey except a few hard core UAA fans. Of course there will be a bunch of Sioux fans logging on that will probably crash the server.

The fact that Luica and Gwoz have been crying about the reffing this season makes me believe that there is enough ground swell to get the ball rolling. Remember the refs have been called out a few time this season. Add virg's comments about the league the other night between periods of the hockey game on Saturday night it is no mystery that the league office has a serious credibility problems. The UAA coach was right. I hope he gave McClown a earful today.
