Hey Skippy don't worry about UND's conference membership, I am pretty sure UND still has more Division one championships than your mediocre mid major. I am pretty sure if your beloved Agriculture school was going to lose their nick name you wouldn't be saying that it's just a nickname. It's about cowering to the political correctness cabal. The school owes it to the people that donated the money for the lawsuit to put up a fight. The Fighting Sioux nickname is part of storied history and I am sick and tired of all the Bison fans suggesting that UND take the moral high ground and drop the name. Did I miss something because I have been know to drink a beer or two at the games but While Pointers first couple of the weeks were a little shaky I thought he played relatively good this season. Also, he was only a sophomore last year. I see some big things with Marto, Pointer, Genoway, Blood and Finehage (sp) seems like we could be ok defensively this season again. I am not seeing the doom and gloom.

On the other front it sounds like DU's goalie recruit was lit up. Oh well. Unforunately it appears that Michigan has a very talented and sound goalie coming in.

Nice weekend of hockey I was able to watch both games tonight. Saw Dirty entering the UPC. I thought there was was some awesome hockey. Dylan Olson is going to be good. Nice size skates pretty well. UMD is fortunate to have him. The Fins were small and fast. Team USA was pretty good I can't believe there was only one Minnesota player on the team. I predict Mattson will be at UND for a 3 - 4 years but I like the way he played, he will be a good addition to the Fighting Sioux blue line when he comes to UND. Cam Fowler won't be at DU long. Ulfie's son is a pretty good player and didn't Knee anyone. I have to admit I got choked up when they played the national anthem after USA won the game.

Speaking of Don Cherry he gave Ryan Johnson plugs on the coaches corner tonight.
