Isn't Mattson coming for sure since he is a probably the closest thing UND has to a blue chipper? and because he won't be at UND long. Seems to make no sense to me if he doesn't maximize himself here. I would rather have him two years than one.

I actually think that anyone that can like the Goofs and the Sioux has some serious issues because most self respecting Sioux fans that I know would rather do something disgusting that watch the Gophers win a national title.

Not true one bit. What if they have a wedding or a easter celebration they want to attend? Maybe they like college hockey but don't want to watch either team because the match up doesn't interest them. Swing and a Miss. What if it is the nicest day of the spring and they just want to get out of their house they have been inprisoned in for the whole winter.

Miami is a boring team to play and they played the CCHA type of game. MSU is famous for it. BSU got beat yesterday, they didn't get pucks deep and there was a lot of stopages in the game. Miami played the type of game that ended up beating UND a few times this season.

I have met that guy in the picture at a tail gate before he is a good guy. I don't think he has missed to many Beaver games.

They had a few line brawls in the Boston and Montreal game and it was an awesome game to watch. I get bored with the ESPN love feast towards anything that is Hockey East and the Eastern teams. Miami isn't much fun to watch Typical CCHA team. A real uptempo team should be able to do some damage against them. Get pucks deep and get the goalie moving.

I really think Duncan made a good decision to get the education. You can't play hockey forever. Nice to have something to fall back onto.

Also, I could see how someone might not want to watch BU and MIAMI U in the last game tomorrow. Frankly I watched BSU and MU but then I was watching the Bruins and Les Habs last night and decided to keep watching that game instead of the BU and UVM game. The NHL game was much more exciting than the other semifinal game last night.

I don't see the Boogey man getting traded, he is one of the most popular players in Minnesota and he is an insurance policy and takes care of jobs that are to big for Cal Clutterbuck. Clutterbuck is not a heavy weight like Boogey.

I agree with both of you guys, I think Hak and co are smart enough to stay clear of Morin and his manipulation of his OHL team. There are a lot of players UND can get without worrying about him. Good luck in the OHL.

Everything that I have read on this kid sends up big time flags, he has OHL written all over him, its seems to say all I am interested in is playing hockey in the NHL and I don't think UND needs a distraction like that. Hakstol recruits character guys and I dunno if this guy fits in UND plans. This is just my opinion. If you going to play for UND The team as to come first. Listen to the way some of the current and former Sioux talked. We had first round draft choices that are just as talented as this kid come back for another year when could have gone for the money.
