I think as I read this part of the settlement a few time I think it is expected that UND is going to have to pick a new nickname. Like I said In another post I am not a lawyer so this could be me miss interpreting the language.

In re-reading the nick name resolution (I am not a lawyer but I did stay at a Holiday Inn express a few times) I think Jloos (from his post in another thread) is right I think UND has to pick a name so I don't know how long we can go without one name.

Thank you and now when I run into a soldier in uniform I thank them for their service. Some of these guys have been deployed like 4 and 5 times. Makes my one lone 6 month trip to the desert 1990 seem like Disneyland.

I agree with you 82Siouxguy I still think the Sioux as a team failed to play a good game, they had a let down. I don't think I would should blame one person for the loss at Manchester, the goaltending wasn't good, the forwards didn't keep the puck deep and cycle as well as they could have, the defensive corps also was off. The Sioux sucked as a team.

On a two on one the defender has pass and I think the goalie is suppose to have the shot, but it does get messed up sometimes.

I think people forget that hockey is a team game. There are a lot of things that happen in a series of plays that lead to a goalie getting beat. The game is played in all zones of the ice. Like I told my buddy after Central had a goal scored on them in one of the games last season. I told him that It started with the forward in the offensive zone, the center lost the face off, then there was a bad line change that lead to the defenseman getting beat 3 on 1 and finally the goalie gave up a bad goal. Hockey is a team game and for what ever reason Finley always got beat up for Chay's mistakes, but it always wasn't Chay's fault either, the forward probably did something in the offensive zone that wasn't very good and finally maybe the goalie wasn't covering the post like he should. There isn't any I's in team.
