I think people forget that hockey is a team game. There are a lot of things that happen in a series of plays that lead to a goalie getting beat. The game is played in all zones of the ice. Like I told my buddy after Central had a goal scored on them in one of the games last season. I told him that It started with the forward in the offensive zone, the center lost the face off, then there was a bad line change that lead to the defenseman getting beat 3 on 1 and finally the goalie gave up a bad goal. Hockey is a team game and for what ever reason Finley always got beat up for Chay's mistakes, but it always wasn't Chay's fault either, the forward probably did something in the offensive zone that wasn't very good and finally maybe the goalie wasn't covering the post like he should. There isn't any I's in team.

Let's go Hawks lets get three more of those.

Am I the only one that is bored with the whole detroit thing? I just don't enjoy watching them at all. It's like finnish/swedish elite team with a few north Amerians on the team. Boring hockey.

I also think that UND is going to have two good goalies next season and Dell is going to push Eidsness and that UND is going to be better for it. I actually think as someone mentioned we lose 8 seniors and get better with the addition of some players that will make immediate impacts.

I was wondering that myself because I think Walker's Sucker punch was worse and more blatant that Bayda's cross check. Bayda cross check wasn't as bad as Lucic and I felt that he didn't deserve a suspension for that cross check either.

All I see is a team that was crushed 8-3 by the Sioux. I dunno, I don't think they are head and tails above anyone else. If anything UND and Wisconsin are just as talented.

If I am not mistaken Messier is wearing a win well hockey helmet. I swear he wore the same one his whole career.
