If the UND name becomes SunDogs, my head is going to explode and I might give up my tickets. Like I said earlier if it was changed to SunDogs or Flickertails that is the threshold that I can not accept other than that. I am good. I do believe that the University is going to have to find a moniker that is acceptable.

Yeah pretty sure they are talking about the Sioux more often. Especially have a two game series between the Badger and the Sioux and the Sioux and the Gophers in WCHA hockey.

I am pretty sure that Minnesota and Wisconsin knew about the Sioux long before they knew who the Bison were.

Edit, the computer went out. No Dave there is a code in hockey and slashing someone with your carbon fiber stick is a guttless and cheap act. It's unacceptable! Fighting based on the code is more acceptable. Cindy Crosby slashing his opponent on the skate after the game is over is like considered outside the code and hockey and worthy of a beat down.

That is a straw man's argument because hockey is a niche sport, none the less, most people out side of the west would laugh at Montana anything, insert your favorite Montana Joke, however, if you mention UND to someone from a hockey state they would say oh yeah UND Fighting Sioux Hockey is a power house hockey. In the next breath they would probably say who the heck is the Bison?

I think it's going to be a 7 game series with the final game in Detroit and all bets are off.

Last night I thought the Pens snapped last night and lost their composure. There was a lot of bushleague moves from both ends of the ice but Cindy Crosby and Malkin did their fair share dirty stuff and they kind of stuck out more than others. I thknk Kunitz learned his trade from the Ducks. I just like watching davek get himself all tied up in knots falling all over himself trying to pooh pooh his team's antics.

Yawn, he isn't exactly a clean player either, he has had a few minutes of thuggery during the stanley cup playoffs.

That would be a good thing since Brad Eidsness had a tendencey to take parts of games off last season and give up softies. With competition he can only get better. With two solid goalies in Dell and Eidsness it will be nice to see a goalie competition. We have not had solid competition for the starter the last two seasons.

It's not going to take that long to have the Fire Hak thread.
