  1. Ditch Chickens... Nice! I have to agree as well.
  2. Gregoire and Trupp
  3. The WCHA and the NCAA needs to have their on ice officials answer to USA hockey. I believe that would fix a lot of the problems. The WCHA is a good ole boy system that is ripe with nepotism and cronyism... Until the vipers head is cut off it won't change.
  4. I would agree with that statement.
  5. I think this years freshman while there aren't any blue chippers I think there is more balance...
  6. I spent enough time in college I better know something.
  7. LOL, something I agree with Gopherz on...
  8. I would probably explain this as nepotism and cronyism...
  9. I love that statement because that is what it is.
  10. In the Dultuth situation the refs were "CULPABLE" and cost the Sioux the game based on their incompetence. Sure the Sioux could have cleared the puck. But I am pretty sure any good coach would file a complaint to the league office, can you imagine if this had happend to the Gwozdecky team? There would hell to pay and probably a ref suspension.
  11. CHN stats for Craig Smith, the kid has 52 PIM already this season.
  12. I didn't hear that but I think he needs to keep doing this, seems to work for Gwoz...
  13. The USHL's officials answer to USA hockey and I think the NCAA Division one's officials should as well.
  14. Yeah they are so attractive and have such a storied and honor tradition of playing Hockey.
  15. I stand corrected, there was a game disqualification and a coach imposed suspension as well. All I remembered was that he sat out a whole game series one time. [INCH]
  16. I am not sure that is true because the kid from Wisconsin was suspended two games for injuring the MSU-M player.
  17. That is a B.S. answer the fans and teams deserve better, we hear the coaches say the refing needs to change so it's time for that change. The Status Quo is going to get someone killed. For example Don Adam or Todd Anderson are just an incident away from putting someone in a wheel chair for life for their incompetence on the ice. I find it ironic that he has been on the ice for two major incident involving UND. I think the Fans needs to start contacting the athletic departments and faculty reps.
  18. The WCHA has officials so incompetent they can't call a game correctly. I can go and watch any WCHA or CHA game (they use WCHA officials) and I can make a list of calls that should have been made We have officials not penalizing the right person (Adam and Anderson), we have officials not watching the puck (Campion and Mason), we have officials not seeing potential career ending hits (Don Adam x2). We have officials reffing their former Schools games (Mason). We have officials that every time they ref a game they have a line brawl erupt (Anderson). We have league officials that can hand out the proper punishment after an ugly incident. We have league commissioner basically state that you have to basically kill someone to pass the one game suspension threshold.
  19. I am beginning to think that the league officiating will never improve and we are stuck with mediocre officiating. Until the league schools decide to tell the WCHA they want a change and fail to renew Bruce McLeod
  20. If you watch the play Anderson see the Wisconsin player fall out of the corner of his eye. I hope Coach Hakstol and the UND athletic department are protesting some of these horrible calls by the league officials. Zelkin reffed the MTU and UMN game and notice the low number of penatlies?
  21. No doubt; our athletes actually do their our own school work.
  22. That was a brutal call, yet I have people over on my blog trying to tell me it's a penatly...
  23. If I am not mistaken I think he still does live in Grand Forks, ND because I saw him out in the neighbor hood walking with the kids and wife.
  24. Especially when Hextall didn't even touch him.
  25. What I have seen from Dell I have liked, in 2/3 of his games he has played square to the puck and really took care of his angles. In the one game I don't know if it would have mattered because the defense left him out to dry.
