You seem to be missing the point the WCHA is the best conference top to bottom in college hockey and is most seasons. This season UND's strength of schedule is 5th yours is what? 40th... That speaks volumns. You seem to be missing the point our teams don't get easy games against patsy EZAC teams lije SLU, Darthmouth, RPI, Brown. You do. I would be willing to be if you had to play a full season of games against our league you would be on par with a SCSU.

Look Zippy you're the one beating your chest and crowing over here. If Cornell had to play in a league like the WCHA, Cornell would be middle of the pack team.

In case you haven't been paying attention, UND has been playing without thier top defenseman and it does have a factor in the way things have shook out. Imagine if Riley Nash was taken out of your line up. So Zippy you can come on here and beat your chest but the fact remains that Cornell is plays in a weak conference the EZAC. Your league hasn't won a title since the gophers choked one away in 1989.

The only reason you got the win the refs threw you a life line and waved off a legit goal. The fact remains that Schrivens was lit up by the Sioux.

The WCHA and the NCAA needs to have their on ice officials answer to USA hockey. I believe that would fix a lot of the problems. The WCHA is a good ole boy system that is ripe with nepotism and cronyism... Until the vipers head is cut off it won't change.

In the Dultuth situation the refs were "CULPABLE" and cost the Sioux the game based on their incompetence. Sure the Sioux could have cleared the puck. But I am pretty sure any good coach would file a complaint to the league office, can you imagine if this had happend to the Gwozdecky team? There would hell to pay and probably a ref suspension.

The USHL's officials answer to USA hockey and I think the NCAA Division one's officials should as well.

I stand corrected, there was a game disqualification and a coach imposed suspension as well. All I remembered was that he sat out a whole game series one time. [INCH]

I am not sure that is true because the kid from Wisconsin was suspended two games for injuring the MSU-M player.

That is a B.S. answer the fans and teams deserve better, we hear the coaches say the refing needs to change so it's time for that change. The Status Quo is going to get someone killed. For example Don Adam or Todd Anderson are just an incident away from putting someone in a wheel chair for life for their incompetence on the ice. I find it ironic that he has been on the ice for two major incident involving UND. I think the Fans needs to start contacting the athletic departments and faculty reps.
