Here is why; UND don't play in a weak league and in fact the Fighting Sioux league that you have to bring it every day your team can lose to the worst team in the league. On the other hand the EZAC teams play in a conference stuffed with cupcakes like Brown, Dartmouth, RPI, SLU etc... If I remember right I Cornell came to the Ralph last year and getting pasted the first night something like 7-3.

Actually the ref was Todd Anderson and I have cataloged some of his transgressions.

Last night we were like penalty, what penalty? We sit in that end where the alleged penalty happened.

There were a few incidents of bad defensive play. Good goalie stop some of those. On a point of interest mr unbeatable let in 6 goals tonight so DU isn't unbeatable either.

Looks like Dell isn't too bad and could be a good replacement. I think Hakstol is starting to ease him in.

It's like he forgot how to play goalie. The thing that really puzzles me is why he is on his knees all of the time? Wouldnt' he cover more net if he stood up more?

The performance by the UND goaltender tonight was brutal.

I would imagine that there will be a review of this phantom call or play. I can see why Hakstol is upset and then add last weekends big screw up where the Sioux actually had a game stolen from them because of incompetence by the men in stripes. Especially when you have a coach on the ice yelling at the officials. Coach was really upset with the refs tonight. There is a common denominator and Todd Anderson is part of the problem

People will still come to the games the Sioux sell out for a exhibition game against Manitoba.

Even if there is a Big Ten of hockey UND will be fine and still be a top power in college hockey. Alvarez is a moron. Think about this you put Michigan, MSU, Minnesota, OSU, and say a Notre Dame, all of these teams are going to be knocking the piss out of each other and they aren't going to end up with 4 or 5 teams in the NCAA Tourney, they actually hurt their chances. IF this happens and I don't think it will, MHO there will probably be a re-alignment for college hockey.

I think it was the worst period of the season for UND so far.

I saw a few guys not moving their feet. But its time to grind out a win.

Unacceptable play in the first period, if the Sioux don't start skating this is going to be a repeat of last season thrid place game.
