Yeah, time to start the second half of the season by spoiling the Bulldogs opening their new arena... Hopefully the Sioux whoop that Bulldog ass on the 30th when they open the Oil Can...

I was noticing that as well lately, the Sioux at the break are one of the better teams in College Hockey this season and you would think from reading some of the fodder here that they are a bunch of talentless hacks that are in the bottom rung of the WCHA standings. I don't think the Sioux have even scratched the surface yet, imagine when Jason and Hexy when they come back, they take fire along with Kristo, holy cow this team could be hot as a pistol... I doubt we will be talking about Yale much... This team has the potential in my opinion to make a run deep if the stars align... I am ready for the second half already...

Darn, I was thinking about starting a political discussion today that had roots in Religion as well to get everyone all fired up for the Holidays... I was just kidding.....

I agree!!! I like the fact that he owned up for his mistakes and worked his butt off to be a fighting Sioux hockey players again and he didn't go running off to the AHL/NHL... To me that speaks of his character and makes him worthy of being a Hobey Baker candidate. There is also an old saying "Let He Who is Without Sin Cast the First Stone."

I think the "Minnesota Rule" is a dumb rule... The Gophers not being in the Final Five proved that even without them the Final Five the WCHA still sold a lot of tickets even in a bad economy.

I am cool with that, both Gionta and Gerby were small, fast and both are in the NHL now...

And I got to watch him play last night, he is good hockey player.. Actually Hudson Faschings and A.J. Michaelson were impressive last night as their team steam rolled the Riders. Both kids logged a lot of ice time and were involved in all aspects of the game. Both are big players with a lot of skill and would both look good in green and white.

That could happen again after we beat YALE...

Of course you guys would, you live in Wisconsin, but maybe that makes the trip more do able as well. I predict UND will get stuck in an East Regional and play in a half empty run down barn.

Holy Cow! Our favorite team is 13-5-2 at the break and you would have sworn they were 7-10-3... I would hate to think what we would be talking about today if that was our record. :D
