  1. Looks like the Ralph will be adding to current line up of beers. They already sell Coors Light.
  2. Maybe the Winterhawks are one of those teams offering money. [Link] Backing up that point is this article from Adam Wodon.
  3. The biggest question I have had and I posed to my buddy that's a fan of BSU.... Why is it not okay for the 6-8 schools that formed the NCHC to improve their lot in college hockey, but it’s ok for the B1G to improve their lot? Let’s not kid ourselves, that’s what they’re doing as well. They are marketing it under the guise of having too because they now have six teams in the B1G. It's teams like Wisconsin that didn't want to play the small schools in college hockey. Teams like UND have in the past, they also travel to other parts of the country to play non-conference games when other teams in the WCHA wont. However, if you noticed Wisconsin was very up front about want to play their B1G brothers more and Wisconsin even entertained joining the CCHA a few years back. My question is; why is UND, DU, C.C. expected to prop up the rest of the teams in the WCHA when Wisconsin and UMN get a free pass? They are doing the same thing that the aforementioned teams are.
  4. Ah Jim, you didn't, the Crapitals Head Coach Dale "cross check" Hunter is one of the dirtiest players to ever play the game of hockey. I found it Hilarious that he would whine about the Boston Bruins being dirty. Hunter for his efforts received a 21 game suspension the 6th longest all time for cross checking the New York Islanders forward Pierre Turgeon in the face after he scored a goal. I have yet to see a Boston Bruin do that since. Sorry Jim...
  5. That's okay, I didn't see your post the first few times around.
  6. It's called first amendment rights. Thomas is hardly an idiot.
  7. HA! I don't see the NCAA changing their mind.
  8. I thought it was Mars, but continue.
  9. Wow, you're not very smart are you Bill?
  10. I think it's funny that everyone is mad at UND and DU for the formation of the NCHC, seriously, we are fans and we have no control over this what-so-ever. Gwoz called Faison and the rest is history... I think some of this angers is missplaced. After the Big Ten schools left the WCHA, the WCHA in it's present form died.
  11. The Canucks are a bunch of Whining Divers... I am glad their season is over... I am also glad the whining Pens are done as well. I am hoping and praying for a Philly and Boston second round match up, but who knows the Captials are a tough out. The NHL is probably having kittens at the prospects of that one. That series would probably have a record number of penalty minutes.
  12. Have you been to S.A.B. lately, there are people that believe that the NCAA is going to settle with the tribes and that they are going take UND off of the Sanctions list. I don't know who is spreading this miss-information?
  13. I so glad that we got some lawyers on this site to explain the legal stuff to us.
  14. What is even more puzzling is there are quite a few over at S.A.B. that think the NCAA Is going to settle out of court with the S.L. Tribe.
  15. Dave Starman is awesome, a great hockey mind and it was fun talking hockey with him during the Ice Breaker Tourney. In addition to his TV work he is a scout with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
  16. If you listen to the Capital, Canucks or Pengiuns fan bases they very much sound like the Gopher fan base. The Vancouver Canucks fans are the most simular Gopher fan base...
  17. Wow!!!!! :silly:
  18. I think Hartnell held back and didn't wipe the ice with him and he could have.
  19. All the more reason to like Scott Hatrnell.
  20. Rob Port is that you?
  21. The games have been fun to watch and I am sure the NHL is hoping they don't have the Bruins and the Flyers in the Stanley Cup Playoffs because it will probably be as big as a war as the Pens and Flyers. I have found this season's playoffs to be better than last years.
  22. No he doesn't...
  23. The only vote that matters to the NCAA is a vote that is sanctioned/approved of by the Standing Rock Tribal Council; that’s not going to happen because the members on the Standing Rock Tribal Council aren't letting their tribal members vote on the matter. The NCAA doesn’t care if the Standing Rock Members vote to approve the Fighting Sioux nickname en masse in the state wide election; it’s not going to sway them. The NCAA outsmarted the AG when they got him to agree to the surrender agreement.
  24. Most of us have and cheer them on... That's only hope we have...
  25. Yeah I guess a concussion isn't a real injury. WoW!
