    Think Big

Yeah, that's pretty much what I thought when I saw the schedule.
  2. I do know one thing, College Hockey makes a lot of money for the University of North Dakota...
  3. Really Skippy, Not even close, you sound like some of the people on S.A.B. that said Hakstol changed his mind because he didn't have a contract.
  4. How is it a flip flop, the state reps had the vote in the legislature Al Carlson and the ND Delegation went to the NCAA said they're not budging, time to move on? Are you going to say that Hakstol et al also flip flopped on the nickname as well? Many of us support the nickname but have seen information that leads us to believe that this nickname is going to drag the university down… Unlike some that are putting out fallacious information, saying that the NCAA and the Big Sky is bluffing, I don’t think they’re bluffing at all.
  5. After reading Dave's posts, I felt like drinking something other than coffee.
  6. no not me...
  7. I don't know any UND/Sioux fans that envy them, most fans I know hate them.
  8. That type of logic is moronic and childish at best.
  9. Wow!!!!! Did you forget to take your meds today or did you have a bad shift at Stop and Go last night? The reason I like UND is that I actually attended UND and I have to degrees from the University of North Dakota making me an alumnus and I consider the Gophers a hated rival and could in no way shape or form cheer for them under any circumstances. Kind of like expecting someone from Oklahoma University to cheer for the University of Texas because if they were in the BCS championship for football after OU’s season has finished.
  10. I thought John Hill as doing a great job at UMN.

I was surprised to see only one UND game on the schedule.
  12. Exactly, a "Real" Sioux fan wouldn't cheer for the Gophers hockey team in any situation.
  13. Do you have to be such a child?
  14. And probably incredibly drunk as well.
  15. Thanks for the correction but, yeah there is a signed settlement...
  16. Here is the problem, I have seen this quote a few times but the NCAA isn't going to recognize it. The NCAA doesn't care because they have a signed settlement agreement signed by the AG of the State of ND. While it's sad that the Standing Rock Tribe didn't let their members have a vote and they can vote 6 times on the matter, the NCAA "won't" recognize the vote, the NCAA won't change their mind and the state of ND can vote on anything that they want but it's not going to sway the NCAA. I would bet anyone my next's month's pay check on it, if my wife hadn't spent it already.
  17. If I remember right Schlossman had said that Lee wanted to play 2 years at UND and then go pro...
  18. Jutting is under contract and will be paid till next summer. That's why he was re-assigned.
  19. :silly: :silly:
  20. He is a very good golfer and played golf for the UMN. Now he runs a hockey school with Dave Snuggerud. Fighting Sioux defenseman Nick Mattson attended his school.
  21. Someone posted an article on line a while back about how much money these ECAC schools give out in aid to athletes even though they don't give out scholarships.
  22. I am not concerned about that maybe he is filling a voide left by Jeff Dubay, but I was a bit disappointed in their small pox blanket that they hung in the Xcel Energy Center in front of another Gopher fan's seat.
  23. Actually he is an employee of the Minnesota Vikings and he is friend with PA.
  24. Yep, to quote my brother-in-law Andy Brink who played for the hated Gophers, "I can mouth off to the biggest guy on the ice because I know that I don't have to fight." Same with dirty hits or with smack talk, a player can do just about anything and know that they don't have to answer the bell. All you have to do is look at last night's game and when the game got out of hand one of the Gophers crossed checked a Eagle with a vicious high stick, that play should have resulted in a game misconduct.
