I went to a game at the Boston Garden one time between the Bruins and the Islanders and Billy Smith Carried his goalie stick like a Samurai Sword when he lead his team onto the ice. No one went near Billy Smith’s crease because they knew he was nuts. I think its funny how DaveK lectures us what is considered clean and not clean in today's game of hockey, when his team that he cheers for traditionally in the past has had on its teams some of the biggest hacks to every play the game of hockey (Ulfie, Cooke just to name a few). The front of the goalie crease should be known as the kitchen (football language) and if you go dancing around the goal crease and act like a total ass you should get slashed or hit. Tim Thomas is far from being a d-bag and is a solid citizen in my opinion. DaveK and a few others don’t like him because he failed to kiss Obama’s ass and he spoke his mind, in other words he exercised his first amendment rights which are afforded to him under the constitution. God forbid we have free thinkers in today game of hockey. If Thomas had done this to George W. Bush he would probably been hailed as a great mind.

UND was playing MSU-M when there were first moving up to Division I hockey and while they were getting into the WCHA and traveling to BSU and MSU-M long before any of the other teams were and their fans are still mad at UND about the NCHC. I don't get it, and UND and BSU are going to continue to play after they go to the NCHC. The Chances of Wisconsin or Minnesota going to BSU or Mankato on a regular basis aren't very good.

Ha!!!! I was doing a little bit of fishing Jim and I don't have very high expectations about this season's Boston Bruins… The Crapitals was a Freudian Slip, but I still can't stand the Capitals... Yep you’re right the Boston Bruins have lived up to the name the “Big Bad Bruins,” as a team this season and have had the second most Fighting Majors in the NHL this season, next to the New York Rangers and last season they bullied their way to the Stanley Cup Championships. The Boston Bruins had numerous players suspended this season, including the Little Ball of Hate’s five gamer for a check on one of the Sedin Sisters... Not going to argue there. I just thought it was funny that Dale Hunter would complain about the Bruins. I am kind of nervous about Wednesday’s game against the Capitals.

The biggest question I have had and I posed to my buddy that's a fan of BSU.... Why is it not okay for the 6-8 schools that formed the NCHC to improve their lot in college hockey, but it’s ok for the B1G to improve their lot? Let’s not kid ourselves, that’s what they’re doing as well. They are marketing it under the guise of having too because they now have six teams in the B1G. It's teams like Wisconsin that didn't want to play the small schools in college hockey. Teams like UND have in the past, they also travel to other parts of the country to play non-conference games when other teams in the WCHA wont. However, if you noticed Wisconsin was very up front about want to play their B1G brothers more and Wisconsin even entertained joining the CCHA a few years back. My question is; why is UND, DU, C.C. expected to prop up the rest of the teams in the WCHA when Wisconsin and UMN get a free pass? They are doing the same thing that the aforementioned teams are.

Ah Jim, you didn't, the Crapitals Head Coach Dale "cross check" Hunter is one of the dirtiest players to ever play the game of hockey. I found it Hilarious that he would whine about the Boston Bruins being dirty. Hunter for his efforts received a 21 game suspension the 6th longest all time for cross checking the New York Islanders forward Pierre Turgeon in the face after he scored a goal. I have yet to see a Boston Bruin do that since. Sorry Jim...
