  1. I actually like the idea of another school in the region being in the Summit.
  2. Ha, for some reason, I had that show on the brain.
  3. Isn't he the guy that wrote Beavis and Butthead?
  4. Apparently, the fans aren't really behind this move. Check out the twitter responses.
  5. My question, is Auggie joining the Summit a bad thing? I am interested in knowing what others think? I know that the DU fans don't like it. If they have the funding and the support, why not?
  6. You better get to work and start producing those links.
  7. I think to a certain degree they might have a minor influence but not a much as you think. I’ve asked a few of the athletes if they read the message boards and the common response has been a chuckle.
  8. I am going to believe a conference press release over you. Yes.
  9. Lol. I hang up and listen as @SiouxVolley is wrong, yet again.
  10. I was told they're having a hell of a time getting butts in the seats in Bemidji, too. The game against UND helped their overall sales numbers.
  11. I've enjoyed watching the UND basketball team play the last two seasons. I am just glad they finally beat someone while I was in attendance. It's one of the few sports you can afford to take the family to. There's something lacking with the atmosphere at the Betty.
  12. The last two times I've gone to the game, I've been offered free tickets. People in the lobby are offering up free tickets. I'll take it. Free Division I basketball. Attendance wasn't good today. I thought it was a good game, nice to see the Hawks win for a change. Last season, I attended most of the games after Thanksgiving and I was bad luck. I had a discussion this weekend with somebody on the coaching situation. Eventually, this is going to have to be addressed. How long does Jones get? Basketball is a big sport at our school but it appears be dying a slow painful death.
  13. I am not seeing them in this poll. Is this the one you're talking about? http://sportspolls.usatoday.com/ncaa/football/polls/coaches-poll/2018/15/
  14. I honestly don't think anyone is going to touch the Bison. SDSU is probably the only team with half a chance. They ground Colgate into the ground on Saturday. It was impressive.
  15. Good game to watch, bad ending result.
  16. The next time that Wolff is assessed a game misconduct, he will get suspended for a game. Dixon Ward has the same issue, he's sitting at two game misconducts. Rule 22 - Game Misconduct Penalties 22.1 Game Misconduct Penalty - A game misconduct penalty involves the suspension of a player, coach or other non-playing persons for the balance of the game; however, a substitute is permitted to replace a player immediately. The offending player, coach or non-playing persons must leave the bench and playing surface immediately and may not communicate with or contact team personnel in any manner until the game is completed. Any contact with game officials is prohibited. Medical personnel cannot be assessed a game misconduct penalty. A player who is assessed a game misconduct penalty is suspended for the remainder of that game only. The player shall be allowed to play in the team’s next scheduled game. 22.2 Suspensions - A player who receives three (3) game misconduct penalties in the same season (including exhibition games) shall not be permitted to play in the team’s next regular-season or tournament game against an NCAA member institution. For each additional game misconduct penalty (e.g. four, five, etc.) assessed to the same player in the same season, the player shall be suspended for one (1) additional game. This shall not be part of a progressive penalty structure. Exhibition games cannot be used to fulfill the suspension for this violation.
  17. Puck wide left, the story of their season.
  18. Here's a couple of images from last night's game.
  19. I am going to agree with @stoneySIOUX I didn't think that DU was the better team. At no time was UND in danger of losing this game. I thought it was a good win by UND tonight. With Nick Jones in the lineup, UND has won six games in a row. Without Jones, UND was 3-4.
  20. I keep seeing these wide-eyed scenarios posted, and not one of them have an iota of a chance of coming true. Besides, there's no reason or benefit for UND or most of the BSC, Missouri Valley Teams making the jump to FBS football. Most of those schools couldn't afford it. I remember some of the BSC schools complaining about the travel to UND when they first joined the BSC. NDSU is probably the only school that probably fits this bill. At least the guy from Minnesota, Greg Flugaur's predictions come true once in a while. I am not trying to be an A-hole, but what's the fixation with the FBS? UND needs to dominate at the FCS level before a jump would even make sense. That's not happening right now. The only way I see it happening is if there was another level of Division I football created. I haven't seen a groundswell of support for that, just yet.
  21. My specific blog site didn't go into that. Like I said, where's the link? So we can peruse it. Predigestwd isn't even a word.
  22. Do you have any actual media person on record with this pontification?
  23. I was waiting for someone to ask Berry about this.
