Clayton I think you sumed it up really well. Blaiser proved that he can get his team to play at a higher level I thought they would have pulled it off and you never know, Blaiser has always ussually been able to pull a rabitt out of the hat. Blais proved it again with his pulling the goalie.

Holy Cow, Andy played like he did in his first three years. Bitter sweet moment, I was critic of Andy this season, but he played with focus and heart. I wish this play could have been more prevelant earlier.
On the season 1/7 against Minnesota hurts but the Gophers better enjoy it because they lose a lot of scoring at the end of this season, Pohl is gone, Leopold is gone and Taffe I am sure will get a sniff from the next level. Losing Pohl and Leopold is like losing Roache and Lunbohm.
Tim Okeef said that Hauser came by and guestered at the game after they won, what class.

I don't think Josh is to blame as much as Blaiser is. You
can not keep a revolving door policy for goal tending. Look at the Dallas Stars Eddie then Turco until the loss and back to Eddie just doesn't work.

This season is has been hard to stomach. I don't fault Blais for the goaltending problems he was trying to win a home spot so we didn't have to play on the road. There are a lot of questions that need to be answered tonight.
Did UND rush Massen to the WCHA too fast? The guy has a lot of talent but doesn't bring it like he should.
With Fornier being sick losing valuable training time and then getting hurt, maybe he should have been red shirted this season.
Bochen$ki needs to learn how to ignore the extra B.S. that goes on, on the ice. In defese of Brandon he was goaded into a few of them penatlies but pick your times.
Goaltending, Goaltending, Goaltending. Wins games. if UND had won just 3 of these games we managed to loose we could have been going to the Ralph Tonight.

I was kind of hoping that Skarps appeal will go through but Blais already said that it will probably be rule against. IN other words Tims last game is probably tonight. Sad moment eh?

Ok. How about the road to the Final Four have you ever heard
of some of those backwater places that think they have a chance to advance.That would be my guess.
I still believe that in its self is a pipe dream, or some moronic dream that some NDSUck administration person came up with when they had to many beers. 64 teams out of what 500 division one college basketball teams. Actually there is 65 with the play in game. Frankly I hate basketball. Let NDSUck fall on their face for all I care.

My wife and I watched the game last night and she made a few comments like are you going to keep watching the game. To the end I said. When the Sioux got the 6th goal scored on them she said this sucks @SS. I said that this is the last weekend of UND hockey for the Season. I am going to watch every stinking f'n minute they have left. I hope that blais showes some of these kids some film from the 1997 and 2000 teams. Show these guys what winning is all about, tradition, effort, heart.
This was a poor effort last night, all the way around. I think I know how to play the Gophers have them go on the Power PLay, they really shut that part of the game down. This could have been 12-2.
UND didn't move their feet, except for our goalie, Sievebida looked like he was nervous and needs to go see a sport Psychologist. Sievebida has Hauserits. Frankly Sievebida would be the first person I send down the road...

I think it is a pipe dream by NDSU. I have been listening to Ed "The Blow Hard" Schultz all week 1440 a.m. and he posed the question to Athletic Director. "Why are you trying to make the move to Division one if most of the public doesn't want it?"
It sounds like NDSUck is trying to ram rod this down the publics throat. At least that is the perception I am getting from listening to callers as they express their opinions on this matter. I mean really, the money to run a division one program is expensive. Add womens hockey to the mix and your talking about UND probably being in the red. It doesn't seem logical. NDSU can't even win a title in Division II and they want to move to Divison I.
The next issue is, it appears that no-one wants to take them in a conference.

I think this is appropriate, who is the most valuable player for UND? I personally think it is a toss up between Bayda and Skarp. Skarp has 88 points in 3 season. Not too shabby eh?

Goon, you are probably on me for being critical of Bo and Canady.
First, let me establish that I am glad both these guys are on the team.
Second, I really am glad they are both on the team.
Third, I would love them even more if the could keep the sticks to themselves.

Regarding the U of M guys being yappers and artists with the stick, I have a theory on that.
The far majority of the U of M players did not compete for an entire season at the USHL level, where fighting is allowed. In that league, if you get your stick up or rub someone's face into the glass, you will get you butt handed to you. That is one reason I think that Taffe will have a tough time for a while in the NHL (if he gets there). He is one of the more active antagonists on that team. If he were to try all the stuff at a higher level that he does in college hockey, he better be able to back it up.
It's a maturation process that some guys get while others don't.
It doesn't surprise me at all that the players would say that. There's always been an aura that followed the guys that play at the U of M. That's why Sioux fans hate the Gophers so badly.
I think Taffe is a cock ___. (I am sure you can figure out the rest) Personally I Taffe is bad with his stick and he is a ditry player, way worse than anyone that UND has. I must qualify this however, he is not quite as bad a demarchi but he does a lot of questionable things with his stick. The reason I say this is that I have watched a lot of UofM games this season.
But dont' get me wrong, Taffe is a nice players that is a very good goal scorer, and an awesome player. But I also think he is a head case. Full of himself. I would be surprised if Taffe is with Minnesota next season. Taffe has pretty much accomplished everything he can at this level. Especially if UofM wins or goes pretty far in the NCAA...
I am sure the pros are going to come with a nice contract asking probably in the neighbor hood of half a million at least if not more. Gee I wounder what decision I would make. You can come back and get your college education later.
I always laugh at fans who try to talk players out of going. Like playing in the WCHA is some how better than the AHL, where do these guys get these ideas?
I disagree with people that think Bochenski is some how a Hackniski, I think Bochenski was goaded into a lot of the stuff that happened against Minnesota. Nothing would be nicer than to see him knock in a few goals this weekend. Cannady is the real deal, I think some from UND have been a little too critical of him unfairly. For example, I thought the penatly he took by the bench was and should have been a matching minor or nothing. It was a busch league call.
I think the hockey is going to be exciting this weekend, no prediction, I really wish I could see UND play next weekend but I think UND is a year away from being a great team...

Let the jerk have his moment he was something like 5-9-2 for his career against UND, UofM can't win the NCAA tourney with that goalie I will bet money on it.
Now who the heck do you cheer for I can't bring myself to cheer for UofM or SCCC, add Wisconsin to the mix. Better dead than red. I'll be at the final five but not cheering for any team. God this sucks @$$.
