  1. Scott_M, I think you brought up some good points. Of course most of the fans on POI_Lite think there is no chance what so ever that they will lose any of their current team, its 100 percent coming back. Of course most Sioux fans know that after the title is over Pro teams start throwing money around at players and it makes it aweful hard to stay. I am pretty sure that Vanek will probably get his Million dollar signing bonus. Thats a given. Well see...
  2. Hey Scott isn't it called Good Karma...
  3. I think they would make really cool hats and tee shirts. My mom has a computer embrodiery business I wounder if there is a way we could get that on a disk without breaking a copy right law...
  4. Please, what the hell are you smoking, your probably one of the 13 year old rubes that are already talking three peat before your team hasn
  5. Its called hockey, not every team plays the same style of play...
  6. Hey it works for me if you platoon two goalies and it gets wins. Why not.
  7. Honesty I would say that it is going to happen. Beside Minnesota is not going to stay on top forever either. Also, do you really care if other WCHA fans think our team is mediocre.
  8. Yep You do rule, I will never doubt you. Do you have any other intell?
  9. Same with me I just checked the NHL and NJ Devils site and there is nothing that say that Hale has been signed as of yet.
  10. Holy Cow, talk about a spread out league, Phoenix, Fairbanks, Texas wow... The players will get some frequent flyer miles...
  11. Hey Dagies any money figures released...

    Robbie Bina

North Star fan, your clouding the issue with facts. However, you bring up a very good point. Size isn't alway a precurser for playing in the NHL. Actually I would say there are a few on the Wild team that aren't all that big, Wes Walz, Marion Gaborik (sp) Richard Park, but their contributions to their teams are hugh. If the Bina that signed with the Sioux is related to the other Binas that have come before him he will be a hard nosed tough defenseman, but not dirty.
  13. Yellow turd, Why are you here, we don't need people like you hear chirping about the Gopher sucesses. Most of us here are aware that they are the defending national champs, whoppie for you. However, I don't you have clue how hard it is for a team to repeat. Troll, I am sure your probably happy in disguise. Lets see you have attacked at least three people here. Go back to work and while you are at it get me a cheese burger and fries while you are at it... I read some rube on another web page already talking about a three peat, mind you the Gophers haven't repeated yet. Get clue, get a grip. The teams in the league are not going to roll over and let the Gophers breeze throught the league. I will say it again Yellow snow that there isn't a lot of difference between the the top 5 teams in the league. The difference between the Goofers and the Sioux is not all that great, your team just happen to peak at the right time. Thats the breaks. I am not going to back down from that statement. Your dismissed.
  14. St. Louis Blues Sign Free Agent Left Wing Peter Sejna St. Louis, MO, Apr. 6, 2003 - Senior Vice President and General Manager Larry Pleau announced today that the club has signed free agent left wing Peter Sejna (sen-ya). Sejna, 23, lead all NCAA collegiate players in scoring this season with 82 points (36 goals, 46 assists) in 42 games with Colorado College. He is currently one of three finalists for the Hobey Baker Memorial Award and was named WCHA Player of the Year. His 36 goals led the nation, while his 46 assists ranked him second overall in the country. Sejna also tied for second in the country with eight game-winning goals and tied for third in the nation with 15 power play goals. The 5-11, 200-pound left wing, helped lead Colorado to the 2002-03 WCHA Championship, while earning their sixth NCAA Tournament bid since 1994. Sejna recorded a point in 41 of the Tigers' 42 contests, while posting a 32-game point-scoring streak. Sejna ranks eighth on the school's all-time scoring list registering 91 goals and 99 assists for 190 points in 126 collegiate contests. He has led the Tigers in scoring for the past three seasons and set a school record for most goals by a freshman with 29 during his 2000-01 campagin. Prior to enrolling at Colorado College, the Liptovsky Mikulas, Slovakia native played two seasons for the Des Moines Buccaneers of the United States Hockey League. Sejna collected 157 points (81 goals, 76 assists) in 110 contests with Des Moines. Sejna will join St. Louis today and make his NHL debut this afternoon when the Blues visit Colorado
  15. Sejna is wearing Number 25 and is skating with Demitra.
  16. Well Num nuts Happy is over on USCHO.COM all of the time. Hum there seems to be a simularity between Happy and Yellow Turd...
  17. Yellow !@$! why would you want to come to the UND site and cause a bunch of problems. There seems to be a influx of trollers here lately... The UofM site is http://www.prideonice.com that is for Gopher fans. This site is for UND fans. You have not intention of doing anything but trolling on this site and causing problems. Your probably that idiot Happy with a different name. Again I will say it there is really not much diffence between any of the top four teams in the WCHA. I hope UofM loses so we don't have to listen to you all year again. Remember no team has repeated in 30 years. Hum...
  18. Incidently Commi got an assit tonight in Calgary's win.
  19. Yes I did Sioux Fan in Boston. However I was disapointed that he wasn't used except on the fourth line and the game I watched was against the Sens and the majority of the game was on special teams. Lee looked good when he played though... Lets see from the recent UND teams we have Goren, Brad D, Bayda, Commi thats not too bad...
  20. That was a great post. Recently Scott_M brought up a point about UND needing to get some gritty forwards from Western Canada. I also think UND needs to get more of the mean and nasty forwards that go into the corner and get the puck, score goals and can check. Mike Prpich has shown that he can be that guy but I would like to see UND get a few more of these types of players. I am beginning to believe that the class of 2001-2002 not panning out like we thought. However, I am not ready to give up on them yet, they have two years of hockey at UND left. It will be interesting to see what type of decisions Coach Blais makes in the off season. The record over the last 17 games was something like (5-10-2). The off season starts now. I am sure the guys will be working out hard in the off season getting bigger and stronger. Goaltending will need to improve. It will be interesting to see what transpires in the off season.
  21. If he is going it is not yet being announced on the New Jersey Devils home page...
  22. I am not sure if anyone had mentioned it, but Mike Comodore was playing with the Flames last night, back with Big Mike was the dew he sported back during the 2000 year... Just for fyi, here is some of the young players for Calgary that are in the system or up and coming... F Chuck Kobasew F Matthew Lombardi F Blair Betts D Mike Commodore D Mike Mottau Looks like some promissing players...
  23. Who is the source on this one?
