The Av's are lucky to have a owner that has deep pockets and is able to afford the expensive players and free agents. They are going to be tough to beat this season and maybe the Stanley Cup playoffs... It the finals play out like I think it will the Devils and Av's will be playing in the month of June... Man that would be a hell of a match up...

This may or may not be funny, but the girl that played Cindy in the brady show ended up being a porno star. So I guess MSU-M is Cindy...

I know I couldn't remember you name...

Dude thisi s the midwest not the middle east. We settle things more in more civil ways; golf, darts, beer drinking contests, and sid bets...

How about Duck hunting season. How does UND end up with such crappy scheudles.

First of all that was a wonderful post... I think UND needs to get tougher and fight through the hacking holding and crap that the teams like SCSU, MSU, Denver, Wiscosin and UMD are going to do to the Sioux next Season. If Brady Murray is as good as they claim every team in the conference is going to line up and try to hang on to the Parise, Murray, Bochenski line. Just like they tried with the Panzer line. This years team went great up until the time they started playing the ugly teams. Then I think the Big guns when ever they got hooked and held powted and stopped playing as hard instead of skating through it. Next season I want to see Bochenski fight his way through the hooking and holding; if his feet are moving he will be be drawing penalties... I don't know I am not ready to write this team off but I can think of four players from last years recruiting class that need to pick it up... I am not going to name names but I sure most of you could probably make your own conclusions... I think there were some nice surprises this season. McMahn plays good defense and is a decent players only will get better, small but mean and nasty when he has to be. Prpich I would love UND to have a line of guys with his grit and guts, he is also mean and nasty. I think these are the type of players Scott_M was talking about. Mike is definately the type of player I think UND needs more of, I can tolerate the penalties because he sends a message, and keeps people looking over their shoulders. Massen was good for 3/4 of the season, I know that guys has a lot of potential. Ryan Hale, didn't socre a lot but he is a good defensive player, I would love to see him play a little meaner though... I am sure some of you are going: God Goon wants to have a team full of thugs and criminals. That might be stretching it but its not far from the truth, I want to see UND become feared again, I want teams to skate into the Ralph know they are going to lose and are going to be sore when they leave. I would love to see UND get a big goalie from the western prairies of Canada. I don't like small goalies. Karl was an exception. I would love to see a few more defensemen like Travis Roach or Curtis Murphy, I like Schnieder, Fehr, Greene, Marvin (got to love a kid from Warroad) but we need a puck handler. Both came from where Saskatschewan, I would love to see more Candians on the team, the hell with the nay sayers. By the way UND is going to Miss Speedwack and Noterman these guys had heart and they played every shift like it was their last, there were also great leaders. I hope some of the younger players will follow their example. I am also going to miss Lienwebers stick with it attitude, he was a decent player that didn't always make the line up but was there when when needed.

On a funnier note, Chris was from Minnesota if I remember right...

I agree, guys like Hammy, theSkilz (on poi he doesn't post here), Santa Lucia, Handy_man, the guy with the moose on his icon, WPOS are all decent posters, I don't agree with everything they say... I put Yellow Mutt in the same company as Happy there are here to stir it up... Can someone tell me what the heck is beer darts?

Hum lets see one million or another year in college studying and not making any money. I say that is a pretty tough choice...
-
Scott_M, I think you brought up some good points. Of course most of the fans on POI_Lite think there is no chance what so ever that they will lose any of their current team, its 100 percent coming back. Of course most Sioux fans know that after the title is over Pro teams start throwing money around at players and it makes it aweful hard to stay. I am pretty sure that Vanek will probably get his Million dollar signing bonus. Thats a given. Well see...

Hey Scott isn't it called Good Karma...

I think they would make really cool hats and tee shirts. My mom has a computer embrodiery business I wounder if there is a way we could get that on a disk without breaking a copy right law...
-
Please, what the hell are you smoking, your probably one of the 13 year old rubes that are already talking three peat before your team hasn
-
Its called hockey, not every team plays the same style of play...
-
Hey it works for me if you platoon two goalies and it gets wins. Why not.
-
Honesty I would say that it is going to happen. Beside Minnesota is not going to stay on top forever either. Also, do you really care if other WCHA fans think our team is mediocre.
-
Yep You do rule, I will never doubt you. Do you have any other intell?
-
Same with me I just checked the NHL and NJ Devils site and there is nothing that say that Hale has been signed as of yet.
-
Holy Cow, talk about a spread out league, Phoenix, Fairbanks, Texas wow... The players will get some frequent flyer miles...
-
Hey Dagies any money figures released...
-
North Star fan, your clouding the issue with facts. However, you bring up a very good point. Size isn't alway a precurser for playing in the NHL. Actually I would say there are a few on the Wild team that aren't all that big, Wes Walz, Marion Gaborik (sp) Richard Park, but their contributions to their teams are hugh. If the Bina that signed with the Sioux is related to the other Binas that have come before him he will be a hard nosed tough defenseman, but not dirty.

Yellow turd, Why are you here, we don't need people like you hear chirping about the Gopher sucesses. Most of us here are aware that they are the defending national champs, whoppie for you. However, I don't you have clue how hard it is for a team to repeat. Troll, I am sure your probably happy in disguise. Lets see you have attacked at least three people here. Go back to work and while you are at it get me a cheese burger and fries while you are at it... I read some rube on another web page already talking about a three peat, mind you the Gophers haven't repeated yet. Get clue, get a grip. The teams in the league are not going to roll over and let the Gophers breeze throught the league. I will say it again Yellow snow that there isn't a lot of difference between the the top 5 teams in the league. The difference between the Goofers and the Sioux is not all that great, your team just happen to peak at the right time. Thats the breaks. I am not going to back down from that statement. Your dismissed.
