To take a few words from one of Mike Tice's comments, "Enjoy the Season." Things are not that bad, too many people are abandoning ship already. Remember back to 1997 last WCHA series of the year. UND goes into Denver needing only a point to take the league title outright, they get swept. The rest is history. I am not saying we are going to win the title but its not as bad as people make it out to be...

Lets see we have lost 5 games, I believe we lost 10 in 1997 and I can't remember how many we lost in 2000 but it was between 5-10. Also if I remember right we got swept in Wisconsin and still won the NCAA title. I think people are panicking. This last weekends results are a good way for Blaiser to get some people's attention. Maybe Jake needs to not dress this weekend as well as young Matt Smaby. Others need to get the focus they had when the three WJC players were gone. UND plays in the toughest conference in the NCAA we are not going to go 28-0. Not realistic to even think that. I saw the moview Miriacle over the weekend and Herbie made a comment that I think applies to this situation. I am sure that UND is going to skate, skate and skate some more. Lets keep everything in perspective and I will say this here UND is still the best team in the nation.

Actully funny that you should ask I was eating breakfast at my buddies house in Lino Lakes this morning saying that I want to see UofM sweep the Dirty Blow Dogs. God that makes my skin crawl. But what ever happens, happens this weekend. I don't think UND has to worry if it they had to match up with UMD or UofM in the playoffs I think UND would prevail. Some have a case of wishfull thinking; in thinking that UND is going to tank the season, they got swept in Wisconsin may good Sioux teams have. Being we have two tough games in the 8 games they have left. 6-2 for the last 8 would be fine with me.

I am not sure why folks seem to think that UofM is going to Collorado for sure I can actually see Minnesota going to Michigan or out east. Sounds like UofM fans are pleading that they don't get sent to Michigan. I am not so sure they want UofM to play UND either.

I like his attitude. I think Brian although he has had a tough season has been a great offensive threat most of his Hockey career.

I hope no one makes a claim to UND not having a very good defense or them being less than moble. Thats stiffling defense in anyone's book...

I think this subject is a lot to do about nothing. Ignore it and it will proabably go away. What are they going to do clear out the student section. I didn't think the Student behavior has been too bad this season in Football or hockey. Beside I sat near the student section for the WSU-UND football game and I just didn't see all of this bad behavior they were talking about. I thought if anything some of the WSU fans were kind out of hand. Time for the Administration to find something else to scrutinize.

Jason Blake is second on his team in scoring with 16g-18a=34 points. Also, Jason is a +11. Not too shabby. Something I didn't know was this is Jason's 6 year of professional hockey. I didn't realize it has been this long.

Thats actually not too bad if your running for office. I am not sure how they (who ever it is that decides these kinds of things) decided that Cup Cake was a good selection for the precidency of UND.

That is exactly right, I can't stand talking to Chuck the man is self obsorbed, Kenndal Baker was a class act. I remember him sitting with the Students in the old Ralph both him and Toby. I honestly think its time to for Cup Cake to move on. Maybe as alumni we need to express this to the Alumni assoc. I had heard that if Chuck would have pushed to change the name there was going to be a push for Chuck to be fired. Rumor has it that Chuck was sat down by some people in the know and Chuck had the economics of the name and the arena explained (I am sure they dumbed it down so he could understand it) to him and apparently after he say the numbers and the financials explained to him he decided that changing the name was not a good thing to do.

Only bad thing is, that this channel is not on the Grand Forks MIDCO.net line up. Seems to be about as unavailable as Victory sports.

Actually President Baker was really fun to talk to, he would come out to the football games and socialize with the students at tail gating events. He was the students president and a very nice person to talk to. I think President Cup Cake is an empty suit. All the times I have conversed with President Charles I have found him to uninterested in much of anything but himself. Some of the article seems to be sour grapes. I was at the UNA game and I thought the fans were pretty well behaved. I am sure UND would have put up with some of the same crap in other venues as well...

Last season the games were on in Grand Forks on Channel 23, maybe someone is looking into doing that again. I am sure there will be a few bars in town that will be broadcasting the games...

Actually I can admit that I played football for them in 1990. UIU is not known for being a football powerhouse. I am surprised that this school is even making the move up to Division II since they weren't that competative at the Division III level. Enrollment is about 550 students...

Isn't eddie 37 years old? I would say probably not too many more, however, Mark MessyHair is still playing for NYR and he is like 42 years old. So who knows?

Think of it this way if Zach didn't miss four games and he averaged 2-3 points a game, he would probably be tie or around what Bucks has in points. Also most of Zach points are in the league games.

If he is not voted the Rookie of the week its going to be sad, sad shame. I thought he played awesome. Looks like Wooger argument of having shakey goaltending is shot all to hell...
