I think I would have to go with Diggler on this one. Nice woman, kind of a no non-sense kid of person.

One of the first things that I noticed when I moved here was that "the" is a common part of the ND language. People go to "the Lake", "the Mall", "the bar", "the Club", the Forks". I always got a kick out of it. Especially when they say the lake, you know Minnesota. I always asked which one since there were 10,000 of them in Minnesota.

I believe that Gator AKA Tommy Joe was a USAF trooper that fell in love with the Sioux while he was stationed here in "God's Country". Good solid guy.

The bar in question I by the restaraunt they call Chipolte or something like that. Beware though the bar was full of Rodent fans.

Actually TH was talking about this last year and I think that last year was supposed to be the last year this was going to happen. However, if the Goofers get into the thursday game and win and UND was the number one seed then this would mute point anyways wouldn't it.

Its the battle of the mutts and cows this weekend. MSU-M plays UNO. I predict to 0-0 ties.

MTU would have to get points this weekend If I am not mistaken to have any chance of not returning to Grand Forks the weekend after for the WCHA playoffs.

Actually we found a great bar close to the X-Cel Energy Center last season that was a lot of fun I can't remember the name but they had an outside terrace and they served an awesome pizza. Maybe a Gopher fan can remind me what the name of the Bar was. The beer wasn't too expensive either.

Heck you can't afford to drink to many at the Ralph. Same with the X-cel Energy center. Must drink a few before the game.

Being the defending champs sometimes makes the season after easier to stomach. I would love to have the UND Fighting Sioux be defending next season. Then we are going to be assured of getting each teams best effort. Yikes.

I hope coach Blais just give the ball to Jake and lets him do his thing. Playing Brandt has proved to be sucessful and if I was the coach I would not mess with sucess.

Does that mean we win the Minnesota Cup?

It would be interesting to know who the five that said it doesn't matter. I would bet them might be fans of opposing teams.

Jake has played well going down the stretch. I think UND has two strong goaltenders to back stop a run to the WCHA Regulars Season Title, A WCHA Final Five and hopefully a NCAA title.

Wow, order up some humble pie. Three admit to eating crow. I actually didn't feel the sweep in Wisconsin was that big of a deal. If UND wins one game this weekend they get a least a share of the league title. I could see UofW taking at least one point this weekend.

I wouldn't count on that happening, after watching the last period of Saturdays game, UofM is in a hurt bag right now. That would assuming that the Gopher get past their first round opponent which might end up being Denver, which now holds the tie breaker with the Gophers. Although it would be fun watching the Sioux whoop on the Goofers.

I think your right Phoneix, I am not so sure that F-Bombs are protected under the 1st amendment.

UofM is 1-8-1 against legit playoff teams from the WCHA this season. Ouch.

Of course he will say something stupid, Jeff will probably go on and on about how Dultuh is still the team to beat and UND got lucky and that they have suspect goaltending, blah, blah, blah... I am now waiting for him to say something stupid like Tech will come into the Ralph and sweep. If UND plays it game they will get the winner of the play-in game.
