I think it is going to be hard to just say ok no more profanity. How do you find out who is using profanity, you just can't throw out the whole student section, nor would I want them to do that. I think the Students help make the arena loud and get the fans going so the place doesn't sound like a morgue.

I am sure that the clowed prince of the WCHA Doug Woug will bring it up at every chance that he gets. Also look for Wooger to work over the officating and bring up every penatly that isn't called. You might want to turn down the sound and listen to your own announcers. That way you don't have to listen to the pro-Minnesota bias.

I remember those games in 2000, the last one was really exciting unforunately UND still lost, UND refocused after the series and concentrated on winning the Final Five and the NCAA tourney. Last weekend should serve as a wake up call...

If You live in Madtown you should know historically UND has not done good in Madison. Last time UND was swept in Wisconsin they won the NCAA title. I don't take a lot from this weekend's sweep. I actually thought that when UND was up 3-1 they would have held on to win. They let one slip away.

Hey guys (girls too) gut check time. How much faith do you have in your Fighting Sioux hockey team? I still have a lot even after the goalie melt down last weekend in Madtown. The UND Fighting Sioux can win it all even if we get just average goaltending. UofM proved you could win with mediocre goaltending two years in a row. Like I said earlier, I am confident that the University of Minnesota will not win a third. You heard me say it again. This is UND year. I believe that SFIP also said this. come on folks lets have some confidence in the boys.

I read this post over on the C.C. tigers fan message board and I found this post to be interesting. I think this puts UND's season in perspective. I have noticed a lot of negativity around the message boards this past week. So what we lost a game UND is not going to go 5-7 the last 12 games. Enjoy the season, enjoy the season. Goon

Its like who fricken cares. UND is in good position no matter what happens this weekend. I am sure coach will have them focused to play good hockey. Maybe coach will have them doing some herbies. I know if I was the coach, I would skate their asses off (run them into the ground) for this past weekend's effort , you know make them pay for their mistakes. Then I would move on.

Inch is wrong UND hold the season edge in head to head 3 out of 4 games I can see UND getting BSU before Minnesoda does.

I am thinking also that there might be some shooting drills too.

I am not sure since UND has beaten UMD three times already too. Who cares UMD will be looking up at UND by the end of the season. Jim's page clears it up more. Actually I think its funny since one is a forward and another is a defenseman. I think it should probably say something like which takes dumber penatlies. I have to say that Matt Greene is more valuable since he contributes more than just penalties. I thought Canady was playing well until he took a dumb penalty at Minnesota and I don't think he has touched the ice since.

Some have said that you have to bid for it to get it out of Michigan. Apparently the Michigan Schools have a lot of clout to keep it in Michigan. I am hoping that eventually UND will get it a lot more with the new arena.

A couple of wins by the Sioux this weekend could be what the doctor ordered for the Sioux. It would make things a lot better. I would love to be able to watch the team practices this week. I am sure they will probably be all business. Lots of skating drills and defensive work.

The thought makes my skin crawl. But I can get over it for one weekend.

I wouldn't doubt that Phil will get his time in net but I would be willing to bet that both Brandt and probably more so JPar will split time with Lammy. I wouldn't write off Jordan yet, he has had some great moments in net this season. If you look at the stats both goaltenders have played the same number of games. Looking back to last season both goaltenders played about the same number of games too.

I would be willing to bet that JPar will get some time in the pipes too. Should make for some great competition in training camp next season.

I went to the movie down in the cities this past weekend and it was a great movie. I have to say that it was a really inspiring movie. A great tribute to Herbie Brooks as well as the 1980 Olympic team. I am going to buy it as soon as it comes out on DVD...

To take a few words from one of Mike Tice's comments, "Enjoy the Season." Things are not that bad, too many people are abandoning ship already. Remember back to 1997 last WCHA series of the year. UND goes into Denver needing only a point to take the league title outright, they get swept. The rest is history. I am not saying we are going to win the title but its not as bad as people make it out to be...

If I could improve my short game I would lower my handicap by 5 points.

Lets see we have lost 5 games, I believe we lost 10 in 1997 and I can't remember how many we lost in 2000 but it was between 5-10. Also if I remember right we got swept in Wisconsin and still won the NCAA title. I think people are panicking. This last weekends results are a good way for Blaiser to get some people's attention. Maybe Jake needs to not dress this weekend as well as young Matt Smaby. Others need to get the focus they had when the three WJC players were gone. UND plays in the toughest conference in the NCAA we are not going to go 28-0. Not realistic to even think that. I saw the moview Miriacle over the weekend and Herbie made a comment that I think applies to this situation. I am sure that UND is going to skate, skate and skate some more. Lets keep everything in perspective and I will say this here UND is still the best team in the nation.

Actully funny that you should ask I was eating breakfast at my buddies house in Lino Lakes this morning saying that I want to see UofM sweep the Dirty Blow Dogs. God that makes my skin crawl. But what ever happens, happens this weekend. I don't think UND has to worry if it they had to match up with UMD or UofM in the playoffs I think UND would prevail. Some have a case of wishfull thinking; in thinking that UND is going to tank the season, they got swept in Wisconsin may good Sioux teams have. Being we have two tough games in the 8 games they have left. 6-2 for the last 8 would be fine with me.
