UND power play has been pretty solid the second half of the season. UND has killed like 24 or 25 Power Plays in a row. I think UMD is going to want to stay out of the box.

If any thing I think the location of the Grand Forks hinders some potential recruits. I mean really winter here is friggen brutal (I have never gotten used to it), but I also believe having our winning tradition of 7 Natioinal titles, 13 WCHA titles, a new sports network FSSN and the best hockey arena in college hockey can take some of the sting of winter away from that. On another sense I think the small town rural like feel can help UND land some of the top Candian players from up on the prairie...

Although I feel the level of officiating in the WCHA is poor, I believe Champion is one of the beter ones in the league.

That is an awesome point. The whole press conference was really a little over the top. In fact it was very cocky. Actually I hope the kid falls flat on his face. But that being said, its what Herbie Brooks said, "whats on the front of your jersey is more important than what is on the back of your jersey." I think some of the athletes forget that in this day in age. Thats why I had Basketball so much. The athletes are such punks. I hope hockey doesn't get to be this way too.

Watched the games on TV this past weekend. They have the players benchs on opposite ends. It also appears the building is a run down version of the Concrete center in St Clown. Is the MacInnes Ice Arena really that much of a dump?

Ok, he is ready to play next season. However, its not up to us its up to the coaches. It doesn't even matter what we think.

It nice to see the Mr Hockey winner go somewhere else besides UofM. I think its a recruiting win.
