It now looks like UND will make the tourney, based on their play this weekend, unless there are some serious lower team winning and it doesn't appear that it has happened as of yet. I think UND could make some noise this season in the NCAA playoffs. I hope they get Harvard the first game like the Bracketology suggests, it would be nice to kick some EZAC a$$.

A year or two back TH had talked about the Gopher rule being sunseted but I will believe it when I see.

IMHO I think Porter is an awesome power forward that plays hard every shift. I believe that Porter is a gifted forward and has 10 goals to show for. The play of the 4th line has sparked the team and they man handled Duluth this weekend. I am not sure why the so called experts said they would be beat in three games. Duluth showed me nothing this weekend. Our bigger defensemen made them pay all weekend. UND now has 6 forwards with 10+ goals. Not too bad for a team that can't score.

The key to this series is the UND big defense and the little forwards that UMD has. Actually man for man UND is much bigger. UND has used its size the last 8 games against UMD to take it to them. I would suppose coach Hak will want to run a game plan of more of the same. UND will not take UMD for granted tonight.

Their woman's team is a member of the WCHA hockey.

Thanks Arena Reporter for that good scoop. Anyone know what his record against UND is? I know we have lit him up a few times, but I also know he stoned us a few years back in the WCHA final five.

Bring on the dirty Gophers...

I wish the Sioux could face the Dirty Gophers in the playoffs. It would be fun watching the Sioux dismantle Briggs.

The Dogs body language last night told the story they came out flat from the start and prety much bagged the game after the 4th goal. I think if UND can come out flying tonight and gets a few quick goals it could be over. I hope UND pounds the smaller dogs hard tonight, like they did last night. UND is 7-1 in their last eight games against the Dogs. If I was Sandy I would be shaking my head, which sieve does he put in the net tonight? Neither goaltender is playing very well right now.

That would be a sweet draw. I think we could win that Regional too. Tight defense and we owe the tigers some smack.

UND would still make the tourney even if UMD was able to manage to get two wins in the next two games against UND. However, UND still needs to win some games to get a more favorable seed.

UND is now sitting in 9th place in the PWR ranking. UofW has actually dropped again. Who would have thought it.

My wife doesn't go to the final five, she says she could watch fives games of hockey in 3 days. Also if she went to the MOA I would need a bigger vehicle to get home after her shopping for three days.

It means they are borrowing him for a while because they are probably short players.

Well I am confident Brandt wouldn't play the rematch and UND would lite Briggs up. So when UND gets pat the Dirty Bull Dogs this weekend, plays and beats the Dirty BADgers (thats assuming they beat UAA), does UND match up with UofM or the Colorado schools. I guess I am kind of jumping the gun a bit.

I say who cares. I wonder how many games that these experts have watched.

Not the league its self. Actually could you imagine if the WCHA final Five was at the Ralph (it maybe some day) and the Sioux got all of the best TV slots like the auto 7:30 pm game the UofM Gophers fan and their administration would be livid. Think about it. I have heard the Radio guys say that the other league teams aren't all that excited about how the Gophers get preferred treatment. Also, the league wants UofW and UofM to be at the final five because they sell tickets... The league is all about money. Being a capitalist I can see why they do this. Relax, enjoy the season.

Actually you referred to our fans as a bunch of perpitrators. No offense but none of the sioux fans I know have probation officers. The reason you don't want UND at the final five is you know if the Gophers and Sioux had to play, the Sioux would probably light Briggs ups like a easy prom queen on prom night.

We could be next season's Matt Henderson. I think Prpich could score 15-20 goals.

Its called entitlement hockey, the Gopher fans think they are entitled to an NCAA title.The league is run under the same mind set and hence the league lets them have the top spots at night so they can put a$$es in the seats. Thank God they don't put the 3rd place game before the Championship. Its a whole mind set. Seems like UofM is back to its old ways. Watching UofM lose in front of 18,000 fans is even sweeter. Remember they aren't all that great this year anyways.
