Thats not what I am saying at all. I am saying Lucia got a bunch of offensive defensemen, its almost like he sold his soul for offensive defensemen. I don't think that is going to serve UMN very well. Nor did the pylons serve the USA WJC team very well because both of them were burned on numerous time, that is why I decided to call them the pylons. There play didn't change all that much during the second half of the season for UMN. Besides I am not complaining since UofMN got the 2 Pylons UND is 3-1 against them. Briggs also has a horrible record against UND. So I am glad for he is playing too. I also think that UND are going to be powerful teams in the next few years. The Gophers will level off after Kessel leaves after playing one season in the WCHA. Besides aren't the Gopher fans the one that tells us look what God did in 2 years at UND. Your right a top recruit doesn't automatically make it possble for an NCAA title. I also think a lot of funs around the league are not realizing the signifigance of UND getting Toews, I think the makes the UMN pick up a wash. So I do think its funny when I read Gopher fans predicting many years of Frozen Fours when the whole league is just as strong as they are or if not better. The successful teams in the NCAA tourney this season were teams that played the shut down defense and not the teams that had the offensive defensemen ala C.C., B.C. and Minnesota. However, I hate to cloud the issue with fact.

I suppose they would get the return from NE for going out there and playing them this past year. Makes sense for the program and its a good non-conference opponent and it money as opposed to going to Columbus and spending money.

We only need a couple of Offensive defensemen, we don't need a bunch of Pylons like Minnesota had this season. They have hardly any defensive defensmen and it cost them against us. Defensemen should play defense. I think Lee will be that guy to lead the power play. I think Radke showed flashes of greatness so he probably can fill that role too.

New Hampshire is a really nice small beautiful state. However, I recommend visiting it in the summer, its too cold to swim in the ocean that time of year. The rumor going around now from the Frozen Four that I heard yesterday is that Matt Greene will stay. That is just what I heard from someone yesterday. We will see what happens. I want him to come back. I love watching him crush people.

Apparently the CCHA thinks he is one of their best officials. I think he is everything that College hockey doesn't need. Lots of penatlies and taking the physical play away from the game. In other words; in layman terms he sucks. I think I would rather see Sheppard than this clown. I am sure UND will get screwed and we will be rewarded with Shegos.

Which is really the truth, Matt has been a horse and has done a awesome job. Forunately the refs did a good job the other night in the Semis not calling the Ticky Tacky penatlies, the running over of our goaltender was B.S. and should have been called if it had been any other team beside the golden boys from Minnesota it would have probably been a five minute major. That being said, Matt has done a good job keeping the players in front and to the sides and not in front of the net. I hope he doesn't listen to the clowns from the Tampa organization. Even with their stanley cup I have always considered them a second rate organization.
