The only thing that I can think of is there is an NCAA rule that disallows you from showing a replay of a questionable call. Or basically they are trying to be PC, which is then gutless. Show the replay. The officiating that weekend was horrible at best.

I saw these dudes in concert twice. Once at Monsters of Rock in Germany. They kicked some Major @$$.

One of the problems I had with the last game against DU in the third period with the game still close and UND needing points, out skates the fourth line. I believe the bench should have been shortened to the 9 best forwards. Thats what I would do the rest of the way.

My Wife doesn't allow me to make decisions so I am never wrong, however, I will take you up on that bet. Actually the Play in Game could be the largest crowd of the tourney, with a possible UND and UofM match up. Sounds good to me...

UND is going to finish 5th and have a home series they are going to beat the Daugs then go down to the X-Cel and beat the dirty Gophers in the play in game. You can put that in your sig if you want but thats what is going to happen unless the Goofers get beat in their WCHA home series.

I would be willing to bet the name is going no where they can talk all they want but, when the big schools like FSU push back the NCAA will back down. UND should do the same thing. Nothing. The name stays.

I do, I am saddened by it being cancelled. I really was hoping an agreement would have been signed this past weekend.

The MN Classic is the game from last season's Final Five game, (the goal tending exhibition where Briggs won the award). I say cheer for DU, hope they take 4 points from the Daugs. I honestly think DU will dismantle Duluth, just my HMO. UAA and UND are on the Data Flix this weekend. So that should be fun weekend of hockey.

I say screw the ND high school tourney, have it another weekend. Like the next weekend. Talk about a horrible way to schedule WCHA hockey having it play second fiddle to HS hockey.

Maybe something like INCH's naracisstic power ratings. INCH has little if any credibility.

I think this why we see better ice in the rinks that use their facilities for hockey only. Notice how nice the ice in Calgary and Edmonton is. I just don't get it. They build a brand new beautiful basketball facility and they turn around use the hockey arena for basketball. It doesn't make any sense to me at all. The Ralph just doesn't look right 3/4 empty being used for basketball.

I kind of wish we could pose that question to UofM fans about switching goalies and other similar topics that have come up for the Goofers this season. Seems you team looks a lot like the UND team that lost to Ferris State in 2003 NCAA's. Also, Justin Johnson doesn't really look like he is that bad of a goalie compared to some of the goals that Kellen Briggs has let in. On a side note, even though I am not at all a Gopher partisan (duh), I actually have been kind of pulling for J.J. this season. I am not real good at math but those numbers aren't earth shaking or awesome in my opinion.

I actually wish UND could play the Goofers right now. Briggs comes in lets a couple in then JJ comes in and does his thing. I guess I wouldn't fear the Sioux playing Goofer in the regional now. If UND can play its game beat UMD get to the Final Five and meet the Gophers in the play game. Wow, that would be exciting. But I am jumping the gun a bit. Lots of hockey left.

First off it is nice to see someone else besides us experience the problems Minny had last night, it looks like the 2002-2003 UND team. Start out hot and fizzle. The UAA team scheme is back in and circle the wagons, that to me is brutal hockey. It makes my skin crawl to watch teams play that type of hockey, what they are saying we can't skate with you so we are going to trap, scrap and hook and hold UAA was getting away with this all game. If I was a coach I wonder if could lower myself to coach that style of play. It works if your goalie is hot.
