I don't think any of us have claimed UND is a bunch of choir boys. Cheap hits happen all of the time, however, Rosehill isn't a squeaky clean player either, I thought he played kind of thugish all weekend.

You are correct sir, I actually hopes he comes back next season he has definately take a leadership role and played solid.

Is that good or bad for UND? The BADger announcers are whinning about a hit that a UAA player just laid on one of the BADger players. These guys are serious homers too. I don't think anyone should whine about TH and the UND announcing crew.

Good point Sheppard was right there and chose not to make the call. I thought it was a pretty cheap hit.

That is what concerns me, the refs let the Bull Dogs hang all over our skilled players all weekend and that shouldn't happen. Based on the amount of attention that Brady got this weekend means one thing Brady was flying this past weekend, and that is good for UND... The obstruction was supposed to be called this season and it has not, that being said Sheppard actually called a beter series than I expected. I expected UND to be down 5-3 about 4 times and it didn't happen. Whew. True Sheppard could have called a bunch of penalties, but that is fine too if he is going to be consistant, and he was for the most part. I would be confused if I was a player, first you couldn't do any of the picks and hookings and holdings and now the WCHA is back to being more like the WWF again. Teams don't want to face the UND power play Eades had done a good job getting the players to play well on it.

Time to kick some @$$ this weekend at the Final Five. I am sure no one wants to play the Sioux right now. I think UND matches up well with the BADgers or UAA. I am sure we woudl be ready for either team when we play one of them on thursday.

It now looks like UND will make the tourney, based on their play this weekend, unless there are some serious lower team winning and it doesn't appear that it has happened as of yet. I think UND could make some noise this season in the NCAA playoffs. I hope they get Harvard the first game like the Bracketology suggests, it would be nice to kick some EZAC a$$.

A year or two back TH had talked about the Gopher rule being sunseted but I will believe it when I see.

IMHO I think Porter is an awesome power forward that plays hard every shift. I believe that Porter is a gifted forward and has 10 goals to show for. The play of the 4th line has sparked the team and they man handled Duluth this weekend. I am not sure why the so called experts said they would be beat in three games. Duluth showed me nothing this weekend. Our bigger defensemen made them pay all weekend. UND now has 6 forwards with 10+ goals. Not too bad for a team that can't score.

The key to this series is the UND big defense and the little forwards that UMD has. Actually man for man UND is much bigger. UND has used its size the last 8 games against UMD to take it to them. I would suppose coach Hak will want to run a game plan of more of the same. UND will not take UMD for granted tonight.

Their woman's team is a member of the WCHA hockey.

Thanks Arena Reporter for that good scoop. Anyone know what his record against UND is? I know we have lit him up a few times, but I also know he stoned us a few years back in the WCHA final five.

I wish the Sioux could face the Dirty Gophers in the playoffs. It would be fun watching the Sioux dismantle Briggs.

The Dogs body language last night told the story they came out flat from the start and prety much bagged the game after the 4th goal. I think if UND can come out flying tonight and gets a few quick goals it could be over. I hope UND pounds the smaller dogs hard tonight, like they did last night. UND is 7-1 in their last eight games against the Dogs. If I was Sandy I would be shaking my head, which sieve does he put in the net tonight? Neither goaltender is playing very well right now.
