Got a glimpse of lineup, now its gone. Saw some of who’s in, who’s out?

It was both a smart strategy and good business. Berry receives a $ bonus for winning the regular season so it was great for him that we won a share of the title on Friday. Also, if there is any question with a player physical health, especially difference making players, why would you play them in a game like last Saturday’s. I expect to see both Frisch and Gaber on Friday and Sanderson if he is ruled as healthy by Pooly or whomever makes those decisions.

Got both U Mass and Duluth at 12. Depending on which site you look at there is some discrepancy.

Alway some favoritisms to the East teams also some movement that makes sense. How will these brackets be changed? 1. Mankato vs 16. AIC 8. Norte Dame vs (not 9. Quin) 12. Duluth 4. Denver or Minnie Vs 13. Lowell 5. Western vs (not 12. Mass) 10. Tech 2. Michigan vs 15. O State or an AQ 7. Clown State vs (not 10. Tech) 9. Q State 3. Minnie or Denver vs 14. N.E. Or an AQ 6. Automatic Qualifier for winning the conference tourney.

I’m not willing to bet on that but if anyone in the NCHC has a chance to pull an AQ out of their arse it’s Omaha. Denver, UND, SC, and Duluth are not desperate, we each have something to lose, maybe not Duluth. (What’s the story on them, if they get swept aren’t they below 500?) Denver and UND especially need to concentrate on getting healthy and staying healthy, we each have a good idea where we’ll be the weekend after the cities. Driscoll took a good hit on Friday night, he did not play Saturday, was that because we just wanted to get Helsten some ice, which makes sense, or was he dinged up?

UND has too many to pick from this season, I can think of at least 3 or 4 besides Frisch, Gaber and Sanderson. I do think that Driscoll deserves a look!

What are the TV viewing options? NCHC TV?

We lose we likely play CC. We win we play Miami, most likely. Who would we rather play or not play?

Clowns NCHC (moved/clowns and U Mass) 2. Michigan BIG vs 15. BU H.E. (I pick BU as AQ from Hockey East) 7. Western NCHC vs 9. U Mass H.E. (moved Western/Quinn, maybe got that wrong, but had selfish reasons) 3. Gopher BIG vs 14 North Eastern H.E. 6. Quinn ECAC vs 11 Duluth NCHC (Duluth/clowns will split next 4/5 games so that GF hockey boys will make it, I know that is part of Sandelins plan) 4. UND NCHC vs 13 O State BIG (yes UND sweeps O and we move to a #1, either way DU/UND will be 4 and 5 And both will go to Loveland) 5. Denver NCHC vs 12 Tech CCHA Round 2: Mankato vs Clowns Michigan vs Western (the matchup everyone wants to happen) Gophers vs Duluth UND vs Denver. (That puts 5 NCHC teams in final 8 and the NCAA will never allow that, but we can dream a little, that’s what this site is all about) Frozen four: Mankato, Western, Minnie and UND Write this down, not my final pick but might be!

Should we consider the coaches fortunate that they don’t have to find room for Pinto, Weatherby and JDB in this line up?

Who in the hell recruited this bunch of sissies?

After being embarrassed by Cornel, many of use would have traded Driscoll for a good HS goalie (myself included). We all agreed it was time to try another goalie, which Berry did and proved to be brilliant timing. He didn’t lose faith in Driscoll but he tested Helsten and gave Driscoll a wake up call. The series at Western was a sweep for the Broncos but we played respectably. After losing to the High School All Stars, Cornel and Western we gained 27 of the next 30 points all the time playing with a short roster or key guys missing. We have to give credit to coaches and players who’ve bought into their leadership. Last weekend we moved ahead of Duluth in the pairwise, we weren’t far from the bubble and now they are near the bubble. This weekend we took Western out of an NCAA #1 seed position. We are almost guaranteed no less than NCAA #2 seed with possibility of a #1 seed depending on the next couple weekends results! Gaber, Sanderson and Frisch all deserve to play as soon as they are healthy but we don’t have anyone who deserves not to play. The coaching staff will have difficult decisions to make. It’s been fun to watch and how could a fan have expected such a fun season? No matter how it ends, it’s been most excellent so far! This team should not surprise any of us, they are capable of anything they set their minds to. Hope they keep it going into April!

Saw a week or so ago his coach said he was suspended indefinitely for disciplinary reasons.

Kunz or Judd with Jammer and Senden? Judd has been playing/scoring well recently and that started when he played with Sanden/Jammer line.

Ive only been to Denver, CC and Duluth (the Decc) but would love to go to Kalamazoo, like them or not the fans there get into it and are a lively/rowdy bunch.

Getting anyone back (just one) would allow a full lineup with extra skater. I’m comfortable playing the guys that are available but we need more bodies, hard to believe team is playing so well without Senden, Gaber and Sanderson.

Predicting the final Brackets: Worcester: 1. Michigan v 16. AIC 8. U Mass V 9. Duluth Allentown: 2. Mankato v 15. U Conn 7. Western v 10. Michigan Tech. (UND will pick up points vs Western but not enough to become a #1 seed) Loveland: 3. Denver v 14. BU 5. Sioux v 11. Norte Dame Albany: 4. Gophers v 12. St Cloud 6. Quinn v 13. Ohio St. Not sure if i did this correct but had to move St. Cloud, Norte Dame and Ohio St around so that teams did not meet conference foe in the first game.

Inept bunch of coaches got lucky and with a short lineup happened to pull into 1st place even after getting out coached by Sandy the wonder coach!

DU has Western/CC/Omaha remaining. DU must lose one of those games and UND has to win out to catch them, or similar scenario. UND owns the tie breaker! UND needs to go 3-3 (doable) and neither Duluth or St Cloud can catch them. If UND goes 3-3 and Western goes 4-2 UND gains 2nd seed. Western has a leg up on Duluth/St Cloud since they have 3 games against each other remaining. But Western has both DU/UND. They’d like Duluth/St Cloud to split points. Duluth has one more point than St Cloud but Duluth has UND/Miami while St Cloud has Omaha/Miami remaining besides the 3 games against each other. St Cloud trails Duluth by 1 but play winnable games vs Omaha/CC besides 3 games vs Duluth. If St Cloud gets 4 to 5 points from Duluth they’d be favored for home ice. Omaha is likely safely in 6th. They are at home the rest of the way but against St Cloud/DU/UND so they will be fortunate to gain another 6 to 9 points. CC and Miami will play for 7th/8th in their series, one of them could catch Omaha but it’s unlikely because besides their own series they play DU/St CLoud/Western/Duluth. UND has a prayer at 1st seed (unlikely), but should be favored for 2nd seed. It would take some self-destruction (which we’re capable of) to be 3rd seed. 4th seed cannot happen unless either Duluth or St Cloud wins all 9 points remaining between them and we go 1-5 or less.
