irishSiouxfan how dare you say any such thing. I live and breath sioux sports. My family went to the outside games in the snow, rain, and winter temps. My parents were rich enough to pay for hockey tickets, so I spent everyweekend lissoning to every game on the radio. Even after people have told me for the past 6 years not to return back to Grand Forks I have already turn in my application for the 2013 school year. Also if you went to the col. game last year, I was the one even sioux gfans got tired of, becuase I was non stop cheering for the sioux. Just ask anyone who went and they will remember.

you can tell by the color markings that there are way to many open seats. Just look at the difference in ticket maps between the montana game and the second game. Big difference.

Everyone keeps saying we need to build a new staduim, but when we can not even fill all our home games at a decent level we have no right to even think about a new one. Other then the montana game I am ashamed of the und crowd.

I do not believe we will make it to the playoffs by any means. We are the best we have been in a few years; however, this is the bigsky we are talking about. We are at a point where we should not be blown out of a game, but this season is more about getting the fans into the game. The biggest reason why we have no chance is becuase of our saftys on defense. If anyone breaks through the middle, rounds the corner, or gets a pass of we are at a great disadvantage. five wins is great coming to the big sky. Morse then that I say we beat a team we should not beat.

The sioux in no shap or form is the most populor team in the US. Over half of the population or more don't even watch hockey. I would say that The top team would be NEB FOOTBALL, duke basketball OR New england Pats.

We haven't been able to fill the seats we do have. North Dakota doesn't need to even consider a new building until we sell out on a yearly basis. Personally I would have prefored to stay with the outdoor statdium to begin with, but now that we have the indoor field we need to prove we can even fill it up every year. Once we do we should change it to the basketball arena. It would already be ready, and it could hold the big games.

What will happon after they turn in the paperwork for a new vote? Would we return to the sioux, or continue on as just North Dakota?

I read the latest artical on a likely vote in 2014. What does that do to the transition to the new mascot? Will we likely go on in the transition, or be stick as the sioux. I love the sioux. I would have voted no if I were able to; however, I would be fine either way. I am loosing spirit with all this mess.

University of Wyoming have around 8,000 season ticket sells and look to get around 12,000 season ticket holders. Where does und stand with season holders?

Am I wrong or are montana and montana state not big rivals already. It's like saying the vickings will become rivals with oakland. Sorry, but denver is the rival of oakland. Yes they are in different confrences, but the point is the same no one turns away from hot rival to make a small rival in the future with another.

the montana schools are the rivals of the big sky, and trying to make a rival to cover up the ones we lose in ndsu south dakota and minn. just doesn't cut it. We would lose a thrill of playing them when we do not get a good show and rival. Do not try to make something out of nothing
