What would Red River change to? They wouldn't have the same mascot would they?

I grow up on the Airforce base and recently visited the base over Christmas break thinking of transfering to UND.I was so depressed to see how small it has become. I am interested, I haven't heard much about the UAV. If chosen how many personel would be added. yes over a week ago. I visited the base I grow up on, and its sad to say, but without the drone project the base likely won't last long.

It is likely that sooner or later (likely sooner) the base will close since the base lost out on the newest plans. Speaking as a retired Airforce brat and a student at UND I personally think the base has done alot for the town and I think we should honor them by having the mascot of Warriors of the North.

Does the ticket office have a ticket count for season tickets to this point? How does it compare to the past three seasons?

I know it is only one night in football, but stop having classes at night.

What is the reason for Thursday games? I would think students would not come since it is during the school week. Even less students that is then most Saturday games.

Does university of North Dakota have a fan bus for football and basketball and how much is it for them?

Yes. I was equally excited to get back to the base as I was to see une. I was so disapointed to see what has happoned. I could very well see the base closing in a few years and think UND should have the mascot of the Warriors of the north . It would help keep the history of the base alive. In the past years Base members have done so much for the town of Grand Forks.

I am so happy I had the chance to see the old hockey arena one final time over winter break. I will be attending UND in the fall and it will be strange not seeing it. I grew up on the base for eight years and remember attending many outdoor fooball games and hockey games at the old arena. I hope the outdoor stadium isn't going to be affected by the new building. I can't wait to go over the hill and see the field. That was the first thing I had to do when I took a trip to Grand Forks to see UND this winter.

What happond to the First Night event. It was a huge event when I was groqwing up there from 1995-2003. Is there anything else that goes on in town on new years eve?

Do they still have the ice sculptures?

I am looking to visit Grand Forks around New Years, since I am transfering to UND in the fall. Is anyone aware of a first night this year? All I have found is the 2009 event at the football stadium.

I do not know if I will get the chance, but as right now I think I am going to be at the game. It will be the first of two games in Greely (basketball) I will see in order to get some practice in for the football season next year in Grand Forks. Last year I continuesly cheered for the sioux but this year I am a little unsure what to yell as the sioux are no more. Do people at und still yell go Sioux alot? I lost my voice,last year mid way through the third quarture, but siting beside the sioux section was great.
