Really someone from Montana State suggested it. I am surprised someone from that level would want to start a rival game at this point. I guess they are looking towards the future and not in present day like another school close by. UND is no where near the level of MS, but if someone says go for it I say why not.

Doesn't Montana and Montana state already play for something. I say have UNC and UND play for a travel trophy. The two teams have had close games in the past, and have had 2 last drive games in two years.

Ok, nationally do we see more UND hockey fans or NDSU football fans? Who has more shorts and hats sold nationally.

Instead of comparing the number of people at the games, why not compair who goes to the games. I have met many NDSU students and fans that love Sioux hockey and have made trips to see them play in Col. How many UND fans and students cheer on NDSU or have made a trip to see them play somewhere in the country?

Until the football game starts up again why not have the trophy go to the winner of the Men's basketball game. So far it has been pretty even.

I would give up every home game this year for the chance to see UND play at NDSU ON TV.

I guess we need to discontinue the women's basketball rival. UND is much better then NDSU is.

So those twelve years NDSU defeated UND, we should never had played. You will never make the shots you never true for. UND can only move closer to a win when they compete.

I truly do not understand why each school is so mad with the other school. For anyone to say the rival is not important or that it is best left alone is crazy. I only saw eight years of the rivalry; however, it was so much more then the rivals around Wyoming and most of the country for that mater. Just think the schools were rivals for well over 100 years and now its over because of miss communications and disagreements. Again; that is crazy talk. NDSU fans should quite saying they would win handlely, because as the film said they won it over 10 times in a row and yet look at the mid 90's. Team go through bumps, but the nickle should be up for grabs never the less. I hope Fans of both sides don't let the great rival be forgotten.

Is the University of North Dakota handing out sports posters anymore? I have ones from 2000 in basketball and 2001 in hockey, but I do not want to bring them and have them get ripped somehow.

NDSU tickets are sold out. Hope we get close for at least one game this year.

So the Alum game isn't a game like situation then. Do they break into teams like the spring game? I think I will try to be brave and start cheering at the Alum game if they at least have a game like event. Does anyone know what the police for student tickets are for tournament games. I am guessing they cost, but how much?

Green Team I would love to meet you at a game. I am a bit shy around new people, but would love help getting cheers going. I will likely be at a lot of the early home events including soccer, volleyball and football. Please come say hi. I will be trying a pregame strech and a I believe chant going for volleyball moving into Basketball. For football I will be trying to get a red zone defense cheer going. Do you know if people show for the Alum game in Volleyball?I am thinking of going.
