    Honestly, there is no other fan base in collegiate sports that bitches about single elimination tournament formats and bad luck more than ours. That used to be a trademark of the Gopher fan base and we used to call them out on it. I guess if you live long enough, you'll see all sorts of things.

    Those were Transfer Portal additions. When I hear "backfilling with over-agers", I think of settling for kids who have aged out of junior hockey and are still available because they aren't considered top recruits. That would mean fewer postseason trips and even fewer Frozen Four appearances. That is what we cannot afford to have happen.
