The other posters are suggesting mainly Division II schools as possible candidates to add hockey. And FWIW, I was a student at Central when they dropped "Redskins". Yeah, when I think North Dakota and College Hockey, I think about Bemidji, Mercyhurst and Mankato in the next breath. I know it is the off-season and your are bored, but please try to find something more productive to do than troll SS.com.

Me and my parents used to live there before I was in grade school. It was surrounded on the south and west sides by farmland back then.

Get off the ledge please. Bubba is doing a fabulous job rebuilding this program. He is entering his 4th year at the helm. I don't think Roger Thomas was beating NDSU head-to-head in recruiting four years in either. I trust this coaching staff based on what I have seen so far.

Agreed. Being nationally ranked in sports like badminton, billiards and ping-pong may help you on lists like this, but it sure doesn't do much for the fan base and alums. I know Gopher fans like to point to lists like this when they are struggling in MBB, WBB, MH and FB.
