  1. Technically it's a sub .900 save percentage.
  2. Winning an FCS title would be a perfect time for Bubba to retire. Go out on top.
  3. NAU used to have hockey. I remember UND kicking the crap out of them during the 1980's.
  4. I've pointed this out before, but keep getting told that nothing can be done about it because the athletic department has no $$$$ to fix it. And it's about keeping more of the gate. But I agree with you.
  5. I think Tuesday's vote extended the existing Alerus Center tax.
  6. Heck no!
  7. It would be worth it just to watch all the NDSU heads explode!
  8. Bubba has not earned a contract extension. I honestly hope Chaves isn't working on one as we speak.
  9. So maybe Kostich should take over when Bubba retires?
  10. Hindsight is 20/20.
  11. This is fantastic news! The last thing I want to see is someone getting their throat cut by a skate blade.
  12. I was just being goofy. I agree with you 100%. But the team better not take their foot off the gas. In the NCHC, even the bottom-feeders can beat you if you don't show up.
  13. Wow, are we off-topic. Getting back on topic, as @Goon would tell us: "Anything less than a sweep is unacceptable".
  14. A lot of bearish comments on here. I for one am very bullish on this team right now.
  15. The company that owns Columbia Mall doesn't give a rat's a$$ about it; that is why it is the way it is. Get an owner who cares and I think it can be turned around.
  16. That's going to cost A&M some serious coin.
  17. They were not all that biased, certainly not as bad as Fox Sports North and the Goofs.
  18. Thank you for proving my point.
  19. It's the worst idea since Peterson's Porch in the Alerus Center.
  20. I don't blame them one bit.
  21. I don't think any opponent outside of Northland will be a cupcake to this team.
  22. I enjoy tailgating before games as much as anybody. I enjoy meeting people at tailgating. I am well aware that the world doesn't stop spinning on its axis if we don't win. I am all for enjoying life while we are alive (the recent loss of Katie Richards hammers that home). But that is not what this thread or forum is about. This thread is about the 2023 FB season and where we stand as a team and a program. And the biggest problem with our program is not people like @UND-FB-FAN or myself. It is posts and attitudes like this, where 7-4 is considered good enough and we shouldn't say one negative thing about it. It is attitudes like this that convince people like Chaves and Armacost that a change is not needed and everything is just fine as it is. It is this same philosophy that has held back all our non-hockey programs for the past 15 years (ever since we moved up from D-II to D-I). The attitude of "I don't like we lost, but these are just 'student-athletes', so it doesn't really matter if we win or lose" is simply not appropriate for a Division I collegiate athletics program like UND. This is not high school, where if the team never wins anything, it doesn't matter. And as long as we keeping running this athletic department like that, we will continue experiencing more of the same around here. If you want to focus on having a positive attitude about life in general, go read Zig Ziglar. Because that is not what this forum is about. This is the toy department of life. And it is not asking too much to expect something decent under the tree once in awhile.
  23. Yeah, I remember the debacle at Canisius a few years ago.
  24. Yes, the #drivefornine is looking good so far. Lot of season left, though.
