Sitting in those green and white fiberglass seats, under a ceiling full of more fluorescent lights than I had ever seen before.. Looking up at my dad, cheering and clapping for a Sioux goal, a win, a fight... enjoying himself and sharing that enjoyment with me. We didn't have much and Dad was stressed and busy most of the time providing for us, so he was never very happy or exuberant during those years that I remember, but we went to those games when someone gave us tickets, he always brought me and told me stories about the players and the history. I can smell those games, that arena. I dont soo much see the game or the players on the ice, but more so the arena, the fans, my dad. Dad's still around and I try to visit across the country as much as we can and especially meet for road games when we can, but nothing compares. Nothing.

Some type of "Black" or "grey" acknwledment of the 2020 season DOES belong somewhere in the REA, No not amongst the Green Ones.... but somewhere... maybe not the ceiling .... and not thinking about the next ten years but decades down the line.... "Grandpa... Whats that black one with 2020 mean?" ...... That tells a story, that tells a legend, that may lead to lessons about a lot of other things that are happening now and that our kids kids can hopefully learn from.

A scientific based system used to rank teams and declare a champion, is UNARGUABLY superior to the 100 years of subjective political selection of a College Football national champion. Tournaments are better but in that absence..... precedent is well founded.

How many times has UND Hockey been ...AT the end of the year, the best team in collegiate hockey. Based on the system in place, which is scientific and non-arbitrary.... No tourney ...so be it, can only control the things that they can control. The answer is 9. 9 times.
