Really KEM should compromise on this part as the logo is already "on the court" as it sits on the plan now... it really isnt that big of a deal, just would want the North Dakota wordmarks on the ends.

It also then impedes what will be the sponsor logos, those areas need to be somewhat spatially protected from encroachment in order to maintain their value.

No the logo still sucks, itlooks like a logo placed in the middle of a bouncy ball court, It does actually look the same or better than just the North Dakota, the way the lines have to be painted does cause more of a distraction on the logo than the word mark. really it’s basketball, who cares

if anybody has the font file I could do that. It would not look too bad along the sidelines. having looked at everything I would say The university and KEM should settle with putting the logo in Betty floor in exchange for an apology from Mr K , an honorarium to Ralph reaffirming our appreciation for the gift , a bronze bust in Twamley or something , and an agreement to work toward the future. Really after watching the video interview from KEM it is clear Kennedy can not totally “win” this fight he has picked, She looks to me as a person who would be willing o go nuclear, and I think that could damage the university for generations. this is just too stupid to fight anymore on now, cost benefit does not appear to be there.

I was going to mock one up with a giant turd in place of the logo but I figured the snowflakes wouldn't get the joke, and even if they did, they'd be out of work/school/institution for the rest of the week claiming PTSD episodes.

I worked this up took a bit of work to properly lay in the lines required. I do not have the New Font, If I did i would mock up another one with "NORTH DAKOTA" on the ends. The court I feel needs to also have the North Dakota wordmark.

No jokes just honest commentary, By putting the Logo center and NORTH DAKOTA on the ends, I'm not sure that is a aesthetically pleasing, also it does not leave much room for FIGHTING HAWKS anywhere. This successfully uses all the branding and wordmarks in a spatially acceptable manner. I can mock it up in photoshop tonight but in reality, This is a visually appealing layout. Mountains out of molehills? Certainly not something to lose one of the largest donors to the school over.

How many football teams ever have a large logo on the jerseys ? A small logo under the neckline is common, shoulder logos are common. Football has used the indian head logo sparingly in the 80s "similar" to the bhawks logo used by hockey. Hockey is far and away the only sport to brand with a logo so prominently on a uniform.... hence why the greater connection with fan bases imho.

As far as the court goes. No its a battle that could have been "conseeded" with little to no effect on the "segment "majority" of the REA customers.

No. It's not. If you remove the bird mark negative space, the area left does not form the Letter "N" the font would be off on the far left of the N ... the green space does not accuratley portray the N. I can provide example later to visual explain.

Sure. But that doesnt carry much weight as the Curse of the Ben Brien logo maybe held more water .... So what really works is "UND" How about just using the newer "UND" wordmark.
