Really its tough to save a ton at $98 a night without rolling the dice on hookers and bugs. I like teh Expressway Suites across from the Alerus its, fairly priced, comfortable beds, easy drive to the pepper, has a big hot tub, decent breakfast if its biscuits and gravy day and can be found for as low as $65 some times but usually around $95-110.

I've heard the Bruins frequently sacrifice liters of cats in a candle lit pentagram outside the shower room before each game. Mr.. Slew foot Marchand seems like the type to tape a razor to the side of his boot to go after the leg tendons of a kid in a parent child skate. You honestly think Chara is ALL human DNA ..... no way. Seriously when I see Boston on the ice I kind of wish the British would have won. And yes every day that ends in y is a good day to start with a cocktail...ertwo. I cant stand Boston... unless they bring up Zano...then I'm buying a Bruins sweater.

They won't be the last to be spun off the massive pile of commits Wisconsin has taken the past few years.

Thats a fair assessment. I feel bad for ZPar cause hes a great work ethic example and pillar to hold up for the Program but the injuries are tough when yhey stary compounding. Suter is in the top 17 to 20ish maybe, kinda depends on how much effort he gives.

The Bruins are daily proof of evil in the world and are a terrible lesson of how cheating diving whining can be successful. Also im sure they hate puppies and slaughter mini horses for pregame meals.

NDUS Budget Cuts (changed name to be system-wide)

I would find it difficult at best to lay that at Chaves feet. I dont associate him at all with the previous process, good or bad, even if he is the one who has to lead that horse behind the barn and put a bullet in the head to end it, I dont see that as a negative that can be straddled to his back. -
Thank you, Not having daily access to Chik-Fil-A I'm still enthralled at getting it when im in town. I was very curious as to how it will wotk in Forks... Ive always been impressed with the service and quality of the food.. its almost impossible to choke down a chicken sanwich from anywhere in Bismarck after having chikfila. Also really like their grilled nuggets.

Suter and Parise as players are not the problem... the CONTRACTS are very much a problem and will be for some time yet. I think the owner is 100% correct. The whole thing just needs new eyes, Its the best reasoning for a management change I've ever heard, its logical and it happened before the wheels fell off the bus so to say.
-
How is chick-Fil-A doing now that its been open a few months? Is the quality staying up there, and is the demand still high? Is it on your normal rotation of go-to places?

I wont post the pics. but they can be found in old Dacotah yearbooks. They are fascinating look into the history and traditions, good and bad that most people have no idea about these days. -

Yeah, i agree it was pretty obvious why there wasn't a mascot in the modern day Sioux era. (other than the bleacher creature). Of cringeworthy historical fact. Back in the day there was a Sammy Sioux mascot, it was quite inappropriate.... even for that time. -
he had a good year. I have fat fingers. What do you have more faith in, my fingers stayibg fat, or Stahl scoring 42 nezt season?

True but the concept of the traditions and excellence and values of the Fighting Sioux culture existed in those programs in that era... as is does today and in the future of the program. No matter what logo is on a jersey. The NCAA or a whack job engrish proffessor, or the Hawkzis cant take from us. The Sioux is never coming back... but the traditions remain. I dont like the new logo and name. Thats most of us, but it seems for some we dont have the right to voice that opinion. its either fall in line with the minority or your speech is hate. A disturbing trend in our country today. but that is a whole nother case of beer conversation. -

I think thats something that could be debated, I believe symbolism and effects on group psyche and performance have shown that there is value in the "Name on the Front" mentality in sports and many other areas of society. But really ...its just a frckn nickname ... so we will never know appearently. -

....but when a shadow group convenes another committe to select a firm in order to hold a vote to narrow a field.... to select a design.... before pissing away another $35 grand on a chicken suit. Im going to call BS... and criticize the hawkpoop out of it. Every time. -

Like it or not in our society symbols and names mean things. To the vast majority.. a concept that still somehow baffles the very few hawkstepping Hawkzis.... The name meant something, tradition, excellence, strength, team, family, success. The fnhawk does not deserve any of those symbolistic virtues to be assosciated with it, its true...as some keep regurgitating...... . its just a frkn nickname...... nothing special, nothing of meaning, nothing to support, a cheap outline, no more. no less. Im sorry you're so angered by that, I have a feeling that anger stems from some long standing hurt you felt that you assosciate with the old name, but Im not here to pat you on the head and tell you it will all be better. Not my job, and in all likelihood its not going to get better for you....sorry. Im sure the nest of the hawk is providing you with a safespace and thats going to have to be good enough. You do you. -

in NO way can this mess be passed of on the legislature. The political posturing complicated things ..... but this atrocity and the process that created it is 100% owned and bred from poor leadership at the University of North Dakota and its not just the single Presidents but a culture of poor decision making. So i take issue with the symbol of failure and mediocrity that is the FnHawks name and logo. That's what it will always mean to me and a large portion of the fan base and alumni. -

I even think it would have been better for the marketing department to come out next year with a mascot and just blast it out there at the football games, screw the committees just make a decision. I hate that we are teaching a generation of students that leadership and decision making is a community process. It is not. -

Yes I did, I was in the Nodak camp, which wasn't that great and... I think I threw out something that was tossed in the first cut as it was a representative of what I thought of the process, extremely pathetic. I honestly can't remember it. I was of the true belief that the rule of being representative of North Dakota was a standard that would be adhered to. -

I believe the majority of fans, and it IS a super majority of fans, are stymied about the entire process from start to finish and the end result is a terminal hatred of the... end result. Never hold onto a bad decision just because you spent so much time making it. All of this would have been best served to cut the head (kinda literally) off the jersey right away. Then have the School president and Governor and the Athletic Director meet to decide a new route, immediately. That would have been quick, and succinct. That didn't happen, I hate the name and logo not just because of the pathetic nature of what it is, or the pathetic nature of constant misinformation to support it, but more so the process in which it was churned out. I do not want the University to continue to use the failed process, and myself and many others will never support it. Ever. I know very few people if any that believe the Sioux logo is ever coming back, or even advocating that. Can't think of one in fact, wish it could but its not, have never said that's what we advocate for. I just want a better effort and a better result from a better process instituted by better leadership. THAT IS NOT HAPPENING and the bad processes continue to churn, that's not something I will ever support. Not ever. -
