I made a decision to NOT buy the season pass this year because of the streaming difficulties I had in the past, so far it looks like I made a wise decision. I may miss a game but, the boys and I skating on the backyard rink with the soothing purr of Tim Hennessy calling a game soaring through the outdoor speakers ......is something I'm happy to reacquaint myself with

Saw somewhere that subban has made 3 starts in AHL this year and been pulled in each of them. Zane leading the HAL in save percentage. It's odd but with the Bruins having Back to backs....Zane hopefully gets the start tomorrow vs Rangers. Plus minutes tonight after the wild pummel the crap out of subban. Plus 2morrows game is on NBCSN so hopefully see that one too.

Hockey people, including hundreds of former players, people who actually make their living off of hockey, would judge a person's hockey intelligence by their opinion of Hak. When I hear people jaw jacking about Hak being a bad coach....I just kind of smile and walk away, dismissing their opinion as one would the galactic theorizing of a meth addict telling astronauts about outer space. I've never, NEVER, encountered an actual worthwhile successfully intelligent person in the hockey community that didnt respect the hell out of Dave's coaching abilities.

Zane returned to AHL after backing up 1 game in the NHL.....debut will have to wait. Bruins called up Subban instead, who seems to be struggling mightily......... strange.

Yes he did. And I owe him an apology as I think he did alot better than I expected for his first Hockey game ever. Mis called a few players but did well, his voice is very shrill and talks almost too fast, but he's growing on me. He's no Sweeney, but nobody ever will be. I do think it would be better to have someone with knowledge and experience of Sweeney or Hennessy but whattayagunado

He looked shaky, and slow on picking up the puck, especially laterally movements looked a bit disjointed. He got real lucky on a couple. I'd say he just needs to get comfortable, I'm sure he'll get a chance in some more games here coming up.

I'm really hoping that Midco airs the banner raising..... All signs point to the ceremony at 6:45 but Midco shows coverage starting at 7 on the program guide.

At the fan fest all the players were awesome, some where getting a workout in, hot in those sweaters. Berry was awesome, It was neat to see the new boards and dasher system up close, I might even have jumped into the boards and glass a bit to see the difference......yeah that was me. Im also going for surgery tomorrow after Brock shook my hand.....all bones crushed, its like a rump roast with fingers powered by hydrolics .....wow. Only thing that was getting on nerves and the players held their cool, but when people were lined up for player autographs and some obnoxious fat assed slob in a Vikings visor would just waddle up and budge the lines and push his kid in front of other small kids, not cool dude. You know who you are. There's room in the gopher fan base for your type. One player I watched signed when this happened , but looked like he wanted to check the guy into the Betty. Those are the type of people that use kids for autographs and sell it on eBay the next day. Kudos to midco for sponsoring it.

Interested in the turn out today.....with tickets being given away as much as pissible.....swag.....promotions....free tshirts.....and even giving away $5000....can They get the kids into building? Gottsay.....its too damn nice a day to spend it in glorified warehouse with turf.

Talk about hamstringing your athletics programs recruiting.... Coach: how about playing ( ball, hockey,...etc) up here in B-E-A-Utiful Alaska. Recruit: ..wait arent they thinking about cutting all athletics up there? Coach:....well er ...um.....not really, but maybe, it was discussed as just an option, maybe the #1 option...but im.... I had similar thoughts. Maybe see them picking a Gwoz somewhere on that bench....... Or a Berry.
