  1. Yeah, need to say the right things. With that said, BEAT THE SPIDERS! Expect the win, people. Go Hawks! UND can stonewall Richmond's offense if they play fast, physical, and assignment sound. Oh, and some loud, energetic fans in the stands won't hurt either!
  2. Very possible considering it will be the first road start for Richmond's QB. To UND fans: GET TO THE GAME THEN PROVIDE NOISE FOR THE UND DEFENSE!
  3. I really do think that with some crowd noise and a crazy UND defense flying around that UND can win by a couple scores. Go Hawks! Need to play dominant! Go UND!
  4. UND will likely be hosting Richmond. Richmond's top receiver, #12 Brian Brown, is a very talented player. Big matchup looming between him and UND's Deion Harris.
  5. Exactly. UND's offense is entirely dependent on the play upfront. Fortunately, I expect them to be rested up and ready to open big holes for Santiago and Oliveira.
  6. Richmond's quarterback situation likely isn't going to allow them to win this game. Long way to go, though. UNDs defense and our crowd noise needs to be ready for whoever!!
  7. UND MBB doesn't tend to win close games on a neutral floor ... which is disappointing considering that is necessary in order to win the conference and reach the NCAA tourney. Obviously too early to jump off the ledge, but there still will be a critical decision coming next spring via Faison.
  8. Great news. Congrats Coach. Bubba is the reason UND football (and perhaps the entire athletic department) is going the right direction; the future is bright.
  9. It's also not a time to eliminate the fun. Football is yet a game; if you don't play to have fun and win (and potentially win big), you won't.
  10. ...and here, folks, we have Exhibit A of the aforementioned arrogance ...
  11. I'm all for rolling other teams and Bubba's team should be all for that also. But, I do agree that we should start with just securing the win first. GO UND FIGHTING HAWKS!
  12. Absolutely. 10,000+ or bust as far as I am concerned. I have renewed my season ticket seats and will do my part to try and get 5 to 10 tickets for some family and friends to attend. GO UND FIGHTING HAWKS!
  13. I sure do hate that program and their arrogant fanbase, but I also have unbelievable respect for what they've accomplished.
  14. Funny, you had no problem going on a tangent initially. Oh well, decisions can be tough.
  15. My point clearly was his tactics of going about it (rallying support) were flawed. And they were. Fact. He didn't have it; time to move on and accept the positive current state of affairs.
  16. Those were part of the negotiated terms of Bubba's hire; credit to Bubba. Bubba knows how to work the administration, if you can't tell by this point (his athletic department-wide speeches and messages have blown anything Faison has ever tried to deliver out of the water). Bubba has far better people skills and, quite frankly, common sense than Mussman. Don't use $$$ as an excuse for Mussman; he just didn't have the ability to be a leader, both on the football field and with higher leadership. If he had, he would've been able to lobby for better support.
  17. I was just referencing the estimates of 6k to 8k, not necessarily saying you or anyone else would be happy with those numbers. Nevertheless, there is no reason UND's playoff games should be the lowest attended games of the season - it is just so counter-intuitive that it makes my blood boil.
  18. UND had over 11,000 in the stands against South Dakota this season. Now, IN THE PLAYOFFS FOR THE FIRST TIME AS A DI PROGRAM, we are hoping for 3000 less than that in order to be satisfied. That is just pathetic. I highly doubt those 3000 people are flying to New York City..... Let's just hope UND keeps winning and hope for the best moving forward, I guess. Can't do much else.
  19. That was a doozy. Better luck next time. P.S. I was there and I thought the crowd was quite good.
