I figured we should have a NHL topic. It was great watching hockey last night. Looking forward to the Wild finally scoring some goals. If you have digital cable, it looks like a free preview of NHL Center Ice is on. I think it went for a week last year. Also, it was posted earlier (I think by mwade), check out that Summer with the Cup show on Versus. Interesting stuff, but too bad they didn't show Commie bringing it back to UND.

I have to agree. I'd rather see the bubble screen in that situation that a play we might run once every four games. Let's face it, the Sioux got away with one today. They turned the ball over when about to score and they managed to block two field goals to end the game. That doesn't happen very often. The defense is starting to worry me. Two weeks in a row we've given up way too many big plays and aren't getting the pressure. I think teams have figured something out. Not a good thing when facing teams like USD and UMD.

It's surprising that we are even younger this year. Anyone remember how we ranked in that category last year? Was it only Duluth in the WCHA that was younger?

I hope this doesn't happen, but nothing would surprise me. Doesn't it seem kind of creepy that these professors were hunting down high school kids' addresses to continue spewing their message? It like tobacco companies needing to advertise to young people.

Gonna take some money from TV or other sources. I don't see a school like MN giving up a home gate. It seems pretty rare for them to go on the road for non-conference. I guess they went to BSU (few years back) and I know they helped BU open their rink (in 2004/05?). And they got a road tilt every other year for their Michigan challenge, but I might have this last one wrong. I also think Hockey East would fear this, because it would only prop the WCHA up even more for tourney time. All that said, I love the idea.

If I know my stuff correctly, UND actually allows so many spots for Montana students to get into Med school. Minnesota used to do something similar for ND residents to get into dental school at the UM-TC, but I don't believe they do it anymore.

Isn't this because your games are all two for ones when a person hits stop-n-go? Doesn't Scheels also give away free tix for you? Lots of revenue coming in on those.
