  1. He has said on air many times that he hates the Sioux more than anyone.
  2. I can't believe all my Sensor's Sioux friends are stuck in the Cities! C'mon down to St. Louis! The beer is cold this morning. I better see you guys on Saturday.
  3. I'm further than that, because I'm four blocks on the other side of the arena. When I tried booking the Drury that you got in, they told me it was full, so I'm at Drury Union Station. Don't forget that I am bringing my 85 year old grandma, so that is a long walk. Might just have to cab it.
  4. I want that Porter-VandeVelde-Fabian line to continue to contribute. We need a second consistent scoring line and it'd be a great way for those seniors to get some points on the way to #8.
  5. I wish it was a bit closer to the arena. The other problem is that food will be impossible to get. The buffet wasn't a bad idea last year due to the large numbers of people. I just don't think this bar/restaurant knows what it's got itself into.
  6. The plastic cups for pop at Columbus had the new logo, but no color with it. It was the only logo without color.
  7. You best be careful in contacting recruits (if it was you). The NCAA frowns on such things.
  8. Thanks for not including the American Idol recap. That's crap is thrown at us enough.

We'll have to meet up for those free beers!

I'm surprised you got that one. I called last night and that one was full, and I got the last room at the Drury Union Station which is only 4 blocks away from the arena on the west side and has all the same perks. Mine was 145, but free parking.
  11. It really is beginning to seem that the NCAA hockey committee needs to account for who is playing well down the stretch. These teams are so close if not tied in the PWR that I think more objectivity could be used.
  12. Caught the tail end of some college hockey talk on XM at about 5:20 today. They had someone on who was really talking up North Dakota and Toews in particular. Said he had talked to Chicago's GM earlier this year and Chicago was hoping to get him in the lineup for the end of THIS season. He then said that BC would win it all.

Don't forget that this is a pro sports city meaning there should be MANY professional scalpers. Might be wise to have a printout of the arena ahead of time so you know the sections.

I'm on my way!!!! More are coming with me.
  15. Quickly get to a bar that has DirecTV and gets all the FSN's.
  16. I'm nervous. I don't think I have any nails left and the puck hasn't even dropped.
  17. And let us not forget that they had to walk back.
  18. Michigan was really tailing Duncan in the offensive zone last night. It ended up hurting them, though, because Duncan would drag across the middle bringing all those defenders with him and opening things up for Oshie and Toews.
  19. Thanks. I didn't dare ask anyone as that might jinx us as well. Curling is fun, but way harder than it looks. Burnsville has some instructional leagues, but they might be set for the season. I think it's called Dakota Curling Club.
  20. Looking for some advice: I have curling tonight. Can't skip it or get a sub. Curling is happening at the same time as the game. I want to tape and watch the game, but we tend to lose when I do that. So do I tape it?
  21. Same here with that first period goal. Toews is so strong on the puck that you'd never expect him to cough it up the way he did.
  22. I have to agree on the reffing. Everything I saw them call was a penalty. I was impressed they called the one (was is Lammy?) at the end of the first and also when the Michigan player ran Lammy. You'd never see either call made in the WCHA. I must admit that I (along with every umtc fan) expected us to spend most of the game in the box. Glad to see that Michigan did it instead. Now we need to stay clean during tomorrows game.
  23. I heard them say that they set the second and third best attendance for the west and midwest regional. I was at GF last year. Not an empty seat in the house for either game. Granted the Pepsi arena holds more, but could they have been counting tickets sold? Must have helped when for the Frozen Four next year to get lower bowl seats you had to buy multiple regional seats for this year. What was the ratio to get tickets for next year, forecheck?
