I doubt they are wearing the new NCAA cover up jerseys, because I can't imagine they'd get an order in time. Buning had mentioned that they'd have had to order the jerseys in August just to hopefully get them by April.

I'm just happy to have some games on twice a week. That being said, I do wish they'd have a recap studio show every night of the week (your paying the guys anyways), and I'd like to see one of the nights be a east coast - west coast double header.

Digital cable also has the NHL Center Ice. You can add a sports pack, but it's all the fox sports combined into three stations. Though UW hockey was on this past weekend. Also has CSTV. DirecTV has ESPNU and CSTV. Does Dish have ESPNU yet?

They replay the game at like 10. Though I believe the game went late, so the replay may be later. They have a game on Mondays and Tuesdays with a studio show after the game. Bill Clement is the studio host.

I heard the alumni office has tickets, but was sending them back to UNH due to lack of interest.

Already got the DVR. Watching Bo tonight and taping the Canucks (Goren). I'm going do the regular VCR for the replay of OLN.

If we are thinking of the same commercial, then it was for ESPN years ago. Richter is making save after save. Flopping around and stopping everything in sight. Then he skates away from the net and another shot is taken and it hits the plexi-glass covering the net. Richter skates over and rubs off the black mark from the puck. A very funny commercial.

The goalie in that commercial was Richter. I don't know if I'd classify him as bad.

I have to admit that I was worried for about a minute and a half when we were down and than had the turnover. And yet somehow I came to my senses and realized that Ferris wouldn't get any points on that turnover. Damn are our special teams good. We had a game where we didn't play our best and yet we still blew out the opponent. How scary will this team be if they could put it all together. No TO's, consistent drives, D having no lapses. This team has some tidying up to do, but damn are they good. Gotta give props to my boy Troy! Big first down catch. Had to have been the arm bands. Big one next week in Duluth, and I'm stuck going to grad school.

I love this rule. I noticed last night that a lot of teams were trying to skate out of their defensive zone instead of just throwing it the length of the ice. This creates more turnover and chances for goals. I wouldn't mind seeing a ban on icing during a penalty kill either.

Time Warner digital is also giving it free for this week. I believe the dish networks are as well. It's great having all the games, but I was disappointed with a few things. Too many games at the same time, so you really only get to watch about a game and a half (east coast, 1/2 west coast). For that $130 you pay, I think a replayof the game shouldn't be a big deal. Also, they cut away as soon as the game is done. It would be cool if they at least stayed after that first commercial so that you could see the game highlights. But it sure is nice watching hockey.

Right now it seems to me like taking out the red line is having a big effect. ON opening night there was for sure one break away goal. Now tonight the Hurricanes scored on a breakaway created by a long pass. The bigger offensive zone seems to be helping teams keep the puck in the zone. I'm especially enjoying the FREE center ice package.

CSTV's opening to the season was on the name change for UND. Wodon's comments were that it really doesn't affect UND, and that all the schools should get rid of these names. He said we were upset about the "hostile and abusive," but again didn't think that has that much affect on us. He also doesn't THINK we'll ever host a regional again. Hello...Adam...that is part of the NCAA policy. Idiot.

With the Gophers already having their own network that can be watched from around the country by dish, why not expose other schools?
