It was a very rough game. I don't think I've seen so many big hits. The players were skating half way across the rink to hit each other. I enjoy how Jutting freaks out on the refs after the game. Anyone want to bet that the Mavs get the calls tonight? I think it's time for Hakstol to lose it on the refs. It works for every other coach against us. The word last night was that Stafford has a sprained MCL. I'm not sure how they can know that without testing, so that injury may change. I really doubt we'll see him tonight, but I'm not a doctor.

Word on the street from TRF fans is that Forney has a seperated shoulder.

I'm sure I'll be there Friday with some others possibly. MafiaMan, we still need to meet. NDH are you going this weekend?

Stark from ESPN Anyone go to this or remember where it was held? Hearing all the stories on the radio today really helped me to understand what a great guy he was. It's too bad that he couldn't have continued to be a bigger part of the Twins in recent years. I think people were beginning to forget about him, because we haven't heard or seen anything about him in a few years.

I don't quite understand how, but from what I heard/read it was because of the CCHA going to an expanded play-offs.

I would have to put DU ahead of us. They seem to have a switch they turn on when they want to play well. If we were to meet them it would be for the title (barring upsets) and that would be our third game in three days.

Would the next series against the top 4 be a two out of three? Then a four team single game tourney the following weekend? It would be a way to probably keep the top teams PWR from slipping since they won't necessarily be playing bottom feeders.

Age maybe, but what about college experience? UND dresses at least 9 freshman a game and has only 2 seniors, and one doesn't play. Oshie plays with two sophomores, so I guess Kessel has him there. Every player says it's big step going from juniors to college hockey, no matter what age a player is. I like the argument that Oshie is more valuable to his team, but the ROTY isn't an MVP type award. Kessel will win it.

It's starting to play out a bit in the PWR, but I think the CCHA is overrated and the WCHA is being underrated nationally. I feel the MN is the only true #1 seed with possibly Miami. BU and Mich. St. have come on strong, but can they keep it up? I think the WCHA gets 5 in and if the NCAA spaces us between all 4 regions we'll see a WCHA Frozen Four again.

The 4th line just had a very solid weekend. Wouldn't it be easier to insert Miller or Marvin to the 3rd/checking line?

Fabian said they think it's an MCL or ACL tear. Doesn't look good and doesn't expect to be back this year. Took a clean hip check and got his toe stuck in the ice.

Tim said it's a knee injury and Hak said it's long term.

Tim says it's a classy move by Hak to put the 4th line on the ice for the PP. Sure enough Kozak gets goal and bumps the score to 6-0. So much for being classy Hak!

How in the world does that happen? I'm guessing the unsportmanlike was for saying something to the ref. But I hear the PA say something about a hit to the facemask. Since when is that worth a ten?

We need Fabian. The guy is a great defensive forward who does exceptional offensive work along the boards.

Ohio St. loses again. We just gained the comparison against them last night, and I think their loss should solidify that comparison.

Stafford. Wow. 2 shorties this weekend. I believe he had one or two last series against Tech.

So you're saying you guys are worried.

If you read my previous post, in that scenerio we finish fourth and one of the top seeds loses. That would put us out of the play in game. Therefore, we wouldn't be playing CC.
