Absolutely no reason on an olympic sheet why you don't just crank the afterburners wide then dip your inside shoulder and drive the net- put a shot low far side for a rebound, weakside winger and center should be hell-bent to the blue paint to tap it in.
saw that. During both those sequences, I was looking for someone to get into a soft spot to get off a good shot and/or someone to drive the net...alas...no such luck
I think the sad thing is we're used to the team building and building and building throughout the whole season. I don't think any Bubba teams have steadily improved as the season went on the way Hak's teams did. That 16 team was loaded and was just ready for the puck to drop...
In all seriousness, our forwards used to be able to beat a guy to create space. Their ineptitude is on full display on an Olympic sheet. All that space...still can't create
Absolutely correct. After the first maybe second rounds, they are guys that some scout saw a possible role player in and they are willing to take a bet in case they are a late bloomer.
a 4-6 rounder is not "special" they have something of interest worth watching just in case.
I hear you...Think about this: one of our supposed higher end forwards Colin Adams has the same number of points his Sophomore season as offensive dynamo Joe Finley had his sophomore season...I know Adams has a few games yet to play, but you get my point.
I used to get worked up over the losses, but I tuned in every single game...even before NCHC.TV...and before I had good wifi in my house...I had an old Dell desktop pc plugged into my basement TV. That was until 2011ish...
