I think it is safe to say that neither league is going gangbusters, and HE and ECAC are eating our collective lunch. If Pig 10 and NCHC were one league, I predict it would've finished like this: 1. Minnesota 2. SCSU 3. NoDak 4. Wisconsin 5. Michigan 6. UNO 7. Western and who cares beyond that
-
That's because he is always out against the opponent's absolute best... Role: Keep the other team's superstars off the score sheet. Chip in on the powerplay. This equals lower +/- but a very effective dman

JUST WIN

couldn't agree more

Penn State did us a HUGE favor. Now let's win out- only risk is a #3 seed and a date with Bucky for a snore fest

Awards committees love offense...

If season ended today, here is my prediction: In St. Paul #1 MN vs #16 AHA champion #8 Notre Dame vs #10 SCSU In Worcester #2 BC vs #15 Colgate #7 Lowell vs #11 Michigan In Connecticut #3 Union vs #14 Vermont #6 Quinnipiac vs #9 Providence In Cincinatti #4 Ferris vs #13 UND #5 WI vs #12 Mankato This is actually kid of a dream for the NC$$
-
Way too many potential outcomes to predict that accurately. If the season ended today, we'd be out in Cincinatti playing Ferris in round 1 .

Minneapolis is fine...don't make yourself a target...don't be drunk and alone on an empty street at 2 am. I live in SW Mpls- realize that is basically a different city than downtown, but you'll be fine
-
That's the other side of downtown...it is more than 5 minutes
-
I agree, that is a LONG walk

Not at Oceanaire at that address?
-
I live in MSP, so I am here, ready to rock come friday afternoon. Where's the pre-game party?
-
The only thing I'm afraid of Wisconsin for in the NCAAs is falling asleep during the game...wow is that an awful brand of hockey
-
Minnesota is having a great season. No doubt about it that on paper, and from what I've seen, they are better than anyone in the NCHC. Wisconsin is a solid team, but I would likely put them at parity with a UND or a SCSU Michigan is pretty good, I would put them somewhere in the UND, SCSU, UNO, WMU mix DU and Miami are sneaky...they can blow up on occassion and steal one with a hot goalie (Brittain) and a high powered top line. Play the games- the proof will be in the pudding

Not when you're playing to end someone's season/career
-
I don't have it any longer- let's connect- I tried to send you a pm, but it isn't working. Where are your seats?
-
non-conference wins- Minn only lost 2 non-conference games...splits with Notre Dame and Duluth
-
Are you trying to tell me that Jesus Christ can't hit a curveball?
-
I look forward to seeing you!

Gotta take the little man to skating lessons in Edina, so no Hogger for me, but whole fam is going to the Sat afternoon game- let's pick a time and place to meet up

I've never known you to troll in my years on this site. Miami does have more firepower up front, but UND doesn't play run and gun this year- due to, as you stated, a lack of upfront firepower. Miami is weak in the dzone, so a grinding, cycling approach can really exacerbate that. Gotta attack, not defend, and attack in the right way. I'll be honest, everything is bonus hockey right now. This is not the Parise team, its not the DOT team, its not the Pony Express team- this team is a pair of top end players shy of a "normal" Sioux team. Its playoff hockey- all bets are off- UND's biggest weakness this year is the pp and that lack of a top end scoring line
-
Tally Ho- I'm in... Section 124, row P, seats 25-28...Hoping to see all my old Final Five friends...IM old friends who want to connect- or new ones...I changed cell phones and lost a bunch of numbers.

I bet the UND alum in the metro stat is higher than that...there are 3.5 million residents of the MSP/StP MSA. 20,000 would be 0.5% of all residents...I sure seem to see more Sioux gear than that around here!
