  1. In the scenarios I'm playing with, Mankato is the 3 seed in Grand Rapids, thus keeping us out of there to avoid intraconference first round. If BU and BC both make it, one is certain to go to providence
  2. No, Michigan has to win the ccha tourney tomorrow.
  3. SCSU to 13... On the edge of the bubble.... Michigan and BU are big time enemies for Bobby's biker gang...referencing their haircuts
  4. When Hobey Baker was at Princeton you could drink at 18...heck, you could probably drink if you could see over the bar back then...drinking infractions should not be character criteria-
  5. They've played awesome this tournament...Howe is certainly the MVP. His stops on Kristo, Knight and Gleason were game changers. His breakaway stop on Bjugstad was a game changer. I blew a gasket on that 5 minute call on CC- that was a 2 for boarding, max- kid went into the boards wrong- his fault, and he's lucky he didn't break his neck. It was from the side, not from behind. Home cooking I guess. CC responded perfectly with a great kill. I am glad I scalped my tickets before the afternoon game. I bet you can't sell them today...
  6. I'd like to see them get in so Minnesota has to play them in Michigan (athough not Yost, unfortunately)...in more than one scenario that would be the case...
  7. I'd sure think so...I saw BU and BC, and if Lowell is the best of that class (at least by conference record) they must be legit
  8. That is very possible- not sure what Lowell really brings, but they did win a big time conference...
  9. Agree- satisfying. CC is on the top of their game right now and we should've beaten them. I think we can play with anybody. There is incredible parity this year.
  10. SCSU is on the bubble- They need to be Miami, Union, Lowell, Wisconsin, and Yale fans... they definitely need to be rooting against CC, Notre Dame, Michigan, BU, and Mercyherst
  11. My shot if the following conference champs play out: Union, BU, CC, MI, Mercyherst: Manchester: Quinnipiac vs Mercyherst UNH* vs DU * swapped with Notre Dame for hosting purposes Toledo: Miami vs BU UND** vs Union **UND and BC swapped for attendance reasons in Providence Providence: Lowell vs CC BC** vs Niagara Grand Rapids: Minnesota vs Michigan Notre Dame vs MSU-Mankato
  12. Which you might say is due to a lack of solidified lines? If I am being shuffled from center to left wing to right wing routinely, I might lose track of which man I have- especially the wingers- do I have left point or right point? Oh sh$t wrong one... and tournament appearance over.
  13. No way was that OT goal on Clark...I won't make excuses for two of his goals (#1 and #3 were garbage), but I was sitting directly in line from Clark to the shooter. I said to my buddy "lot of traffic out there" and as soon I said it the deflection went in. He had no chance, not even positionally perfect goaltending stops that deflection of a body.
  14. That was a great team, and MN and UMD also had great teams- DU was the fourth best team in the WCHA and they won it all
  15. This smack talk is silly...gotta get through CC, then the real smack talk can begin. CC will play racehorse hockey...we've got to come ready.
  16. One game does not a trend make, my friend. Although I am pleased with this one. You have to admit this team looked nothing like the team that showed up the prior two nights.
  17. The bad goals which I am referencing were let in by Zane. Not said with sarcasm- saying Zane's softies made an impression on Hak, thus Clark gets the nod
  18. Saunders in net again, eh...the bad goals really made an impression on Hak. Since none of us internet experts are in accord with O'Donnell on the top line or Mitch Mac playing, if Hak fails- he has no excuse. We need to blow them out the zamboni door on the first shift...
