We need to get the D scoring goals again, and we really need to improve the power play. 5x5 we are not the most talented bunch this year nor are we the deepest, but we're steady and capable frown the lineup. I think we really need LJ and OD to take their games to the next level. JSchmaltz also needs to step up his play in our zone- lazy does not translate into the Sioux language

Major junior is faster and more like the pro game. College is against older, bigger, stronger players. Major junior is a showcase, college is about physical and emotional development...

It's a long season. You lose games. You can't afford to lose games to bad teams or get swept. Neither happened last night. This team is potentially a frozen four team, but they aren't going to beat the world on talent alone.

It was a huge part of the Gopher championship teams back in the day too. I do think it is a result of Bubba's players and his coaching. On a side note, what impressed me the most last night was the tenacity of the forecheck and the sticking up for each other...that is Sioux hockey.
