I want to know what he's going to do differently going forward. I would love to hear his plan. The system sucks. Not only is it not working, it isn't very fun to watch. His system had great success with ELITE talent- play a system that avoids opportunities to screw up, then let the God given talents of Travis Zajac, Drew Stafford, TJ Oshie, Jonathan Toews, Matt Frattin, etc. score a couple goals. You have to play fast and on your toes- FORWARD, not backward, not lateral, FORWARD with speed

I did not hear the fire Hak chant last night- although he deserves criticism for the egg that was laid. What's worse than losing is losing with no opportunity to win. We did not play entertaining hockey. We did not play SIoux hockey. Wanting to fire your coach is not embarrassing in my estimation either. He's the figurehead of the program, gets paid a risk premium, its his neck.

Starman's comments on the middle of the rink are spot on. The system is built to prevent mistakes and not allow the opponent to get chances. It is not built to score. It amazes me that we've had the scoring we've had before- I guess that NHL talent will always score

They don't pay that much attention to it...once the puck drops its just a kids game

Explosive to me means the potential to turn nothing into something. Rocco can do that- he just hasn't had a lot of finishes... I think his linemates and the system both play against Rocco's style of creativity and passes out of nowhere. He is fast and skilled. He can turn a mistake into a breakaway...he needs to bury those breakaways

according to hockeydb he scored a total of 1 goal at UND...just saying that doesn't sound like a guy who was leading his class in scoring

Agree that Kerdiles is special...not too impressed with the others. Bucky got smoked in Boston, lost to Anchorage, split with Miami (our door mat), did sweep CC (but went to OT)

I think it is safe to say that neither league is going gangbusters, and HE and ECAC are eating our collective lunch. If Pig 10 and NCHC were one league, I predict it would've finished like this: 1. Minnesota 2. SCSU 3. NoDak 4. Wisconsin 5. Michigan 6. UNO 7. Western and who cares beyond that
