Is it too late to go out and get someone? I recall years ago Blais bringing in goalie Josh Siembida around the holiday season. Unless the NCAA rules have changed, why can’t we bring in a guy?

Given how bad we played the past two games against Omaha and Western, I thought we’d lose by no less than 3-4 goals today. Pleasantly surprised to see how well CC played today. Great all around game for the Tigers!

The goalie’s name is Lamoreaux. Different spelling but funny they have a goalie by that last name.

Early in the game, Holden mentioned that Gaber was once a Western Michigan recruit. Anyone know the back story as to why he de-committed and came to UND?

Agreed. Connor Mayer for CC in a defenseless position on his knees and Duluth’s Olson comes in with a big elbow to the head. How do the officials not review that if they’re already going to give him an elbowing penalty???

Yah, that sucks. I was worried at the time that this might be a serious injury.

Typical Andy Murray coached Western team-take too many penalties, have poor, inconsistent goaltending, and a bad penalty kill. All recipes for disaster. Their problem is, they can’t seem to get out of their own way. I feel bad for Brandon Bussi getting injured in game one. He’s a decent goaltender and Western sure could use him right now.

Anyone know the story on Savoie? Was he highly recruited?
