Anyone notice how much the linesmen communicate right before dropping the puck? They’d count down, 3, 2, 1, ready and then drop it. Interesting, don’t think I’ve picked up on something like that here in the States.

In reading Schlossman’s piece about Zellers and his inclusion on the roster, if you didn’t know any better you’d walk away thinking Motzko wanted him on the team all along based on his quotes. Were those just face saving comments or did he really not want him on the team? Clearly, it was the absolute right call by Vanbiesbrouck to make that executive decision to include him on the roster.

I’d imagine a win (or two) on the road at #2 Dartmouth would bode very well for the NCHC.

To me, it would be awfully frustrating being a Mavericks fan right now. Eight seasons and only two tournament appearances and I don’t believe they’ve advanced to St. Paul in the years they’ve had home ice. They seem to get decent talent each year but don’t live up to expectations (sounds like us the previous few years).

What was last night’s excuse? Lol Full disclosure: CC isn’t exactly crushing it in the win column so I suppose there’s an element of that right now in terms of compelling drama for a RedHawks fan to go.
